John Krasinski's SNL Hosting Debut Had the Most Adorable Tribute to His and Emily Blunt's Daughters
John Krasinski hosted "Saturday Night Live" over the previous weekend and honored his two daughters in the most adorable way.
During John Krasinski's debut as host SNL over the weekend, he paid tribute to his two little daughters in the most adorable way at the end of the show.
"The Office" star is married to the British actress Emily Blunt. The two share two young daughters, Hazel and Violet. Although he was away from them during filming for the show, they were clearly on his mind.

The tribute came during the goodbyes at the end of the show. The dad of two had decided to wear a very special item of clothing while he thanked the show's crew.
He wore a long sleeve shirt that had his daughter's initials embodied on it. The "H + V" can be seen during the closing of the show. His stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, shared a photo to her Instagram, the caption read:
"John wanted to have his daughters’ initials monogrammed on his shirt for SNL goodnight looks ❤️ - styled by yours truly..."
The family has been spending time in London. Blunt shared that they had been living in England since August when she appeared of Jimmy Kimmel.
She shared her excitement that her daughters had started developing a British accent and that the girls were now attending school and had to wear uniforms.
In one segment, he sang the words to "The Office" theme song, which originally does not have any lyrics.
Krasinski shared in his opening monologue that his wife was "over the pond" and shared a funny antidote about how he had tried to explain to his girls that he would be on SNL.
He tried to explain by saying that he would appear on his favorite show, SNL, so it was like he was on "Paw Patrol," which is their favorite show. He went on to say:
"And they were like, 'What? You're on Paw Patrol?' And I was like, 'No, no, no, no.' And they were like, 'Call us when you're on Paw Patrol.' "
Krasinski put on a great show along with the rest of the cast. In one segment, he sang the words to "The Office" theme song, which originally does not have any lyrics.
Machine Gun Kelly joined him during the closing scene of the show. The musician performed two of his songs, "Lonely" and " My Ex’s Best Friend."
Blunt and Krasinski are very private when it comes to their children. Although they will share hilarious and adorable stories about their girls, they have not shared many photos.
The family has been spending a lot of time together during the coronavirus lockdown. Blunt shared that the girls have been a lifeline for her and her husband.
