Kobe Bryant's Daughter Natalia Shares Her Excitement as She Signs with a Modeling Agency

The late Kobe Bryant would be so proud of his oldest daughter Natalia Bryant. The teenager recently signed on to be a model via a well-known agency with an excellent track record in the industry.

Natalia Bryant, 18, is the latest person to sign up with IMG Models. On Monday, February 8, 2021, the modeling agency shared a black-and-white headshot of the teenager and confirmed the great news.

It revealed that it was officially representing Natalia. The caption included a statement by the teenager that shared how she’d always had an interest in the fashion industry from a very young age.

The statement also noted how Natalia loved the industry and had always wanted to become a model. She acknowledged that she had a lot to learn but stated how this was a “great opportunity” for her.

Kobe Bryant’s daughter looked forward to learning more and being able to express herself creatively. The teenager also shared more of her thoughts about finally getting to sign up with an agency.

Kobe’s oldest child took to her Instagram Story to celebrate signing up with the agency. She confessed how she was feeling about finally getting to following her dreams by joining IMG Models, writing:

“I am beyond thrilled and so honored to be part of the IMG family!”

Natalia’s mother, Vanessa Bryant, 38, also celebrated the milestone and supported her firstborn child on her Instagram Story by sharing IMG's original announcement. Her post included a GIF that said:

"I am so proud of you."

This was the second most significant thing to happen to Natalia in a short space of time. The first one was her turning 18 last month on January 19, 2021, marked with several throwback photos of her father.

Vanessa joked that her oldest daughter had gotten hurt as payback for making fun of her father’s fingers.

Her mother uploaded the images on her Instagram account. Sadly, the former basketball star passed away in January 2020 along with his and his wife’s daughter Gianna, 13, and seven others in a helicopter crash.

Besides Natalia and Gianna, the late star and Vanessa also share two more daughters Bianka, 4, and Capri, 1. In December 2020, Natalia suffered a minor wrist and finger sprain while on a family ski trip with singer Ciara.

Vanessa joked that her oldest daughter had gotten hurt as payback for making fun of her father’s fingers. Even though Natalia is the oldest, Gianna was set to be Kobe’s heir because she also played basketball.
