The royal wedding was announced for fall 2018 and was held in attendance by all the royals. The couple is known to keep their relationship low-key and after their marriage, they continued in the same way.

Through official announcements, it has been possible to monitor the married life of the princess and her husband. A couple of days ago the couple became parents for the first time.

ORIGINS AND ANCESTORS

Brooksbank was born on May 3, 1986, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Lambeth, London. He is the eldest son of George Brooksbank, an accountant, and his wife Nicola Newton and has a younger brother named Thomas.

His great-great-great-grandfather was Thomas Coke the Second Earl of Leicester. He is also a descendant of Stamp Brooksbank, a former Member of the British Parliament. Through Thomas Coke, he and his wife are third cousins, as are the Queen and her husband.

BUSINESS CAREER

Brooksbank attended one of the UK's most prestigious private schools, Stowe School, and later studied at the University of Bristol. He made a career in hospitality because he had the dream of opening a chain of "hostelries."

For a season he was the manager of Mahiki, a very popular London nightclub. Brooksbank is currently serving as the UK Ambassador for the Casamigos tequila brand.

PROPOSAL AND OFFICIAL COMMITMENT

Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie were on vacation in Nicaragua in January 2018 when he asked the question. She commented that it was very beautiful and romantic, and a surprise despite having been together for seven years.

The Royal Family's response to the engagement was well wishes for the couple. The official announcement was posted in January 2018 on the royal family's Twitter account. The Duchess of York showed her liking with two words in her post: "Total joy!!"

WEDDING DAY

Princess Eugenie and her boyfriend were married at St George's Chapel in Windsor. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress and they were both beaming with happiness.

One of the things everyone wanted to see was the wedding ring that Queen Elizabeth gave the couple. This is a tradition since the Queen Mother's wedding in 1923, to use a Welsh gold band for the rings.

BABY ON THE WAY

Princess Eugenie is the only royal who has an Instagram account and often uses it for important announcements. Through her publications, she announced her engagement and future wedding.

More recently, that she and her husband are expecting a baby. The couple's first child is scheduled to be born in mid-February 2021. The official account of the royal family also announced the happy event with a publication.

PREPARING FOR BIRTH

In preparation for the birth, the pair of prospective parents moved from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Windsor home to the Royal Lodge with their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the third national lockdown, it is natural that the couple wanted to be close to the family before the arrival of the baby, and thus not be so isolated the first days.

WELCOME TO THE REAL BABY

On February 9, Princess Eugenie and her husband announced the arrival of their first child: a baby boy. With an adorable photograph of the baby's hand, the princess communicated the happy news on her Instagram account.

In the official announcement made by the royal family, photos of the parents as children were added. The princess appears with her bright blue eyes looking straight at the camera and smiling, while Brooksbank also looks at the camera holding his face between his hands.

ROYAL WITHOUT ROYAL TITLE

The first grandson of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, although he is the queen's great-grandson, he will not have a royal title. This is because the titles are passed on to the children through the paternal descent line. As Brooksbank is a commoner, so is his son.

As for the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, she couldn't be happier with the arrival of her first grandchild. She has commented that she has remained close to her daughter and that she will do the same with her son, who will be an excellent mother.
