Us Weekly: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Second Baby Is Due at the End of Spring

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their second child to arrive this Spring. The Royal couple announced their second pregnancy on Valentine's Day - the same day Princess Diana announced her pregnancy with Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and their son Archie, can expect the newest member of their family to join them at the end of Spring. That is according to a source who spoke to "Us Weekly" following the pregnancy announcement.

The insider further said that the couple has always known that they wanted to give Archie a sibling and are now overjoyed as they plan to welcome the little one this Spring.

Even though the couple has the financial means to surround themselves with a team of nannies, they will reportedly only look to Markle's mother, Doris, for help. The grandmother is always available to help out when needed.

The pair made the announcement on Valentine's Day, sharing a black and white photo of Prince Harry sitting on the grass and caressing his wife's hair, who was laid next to him showing off her tiny baby bump. The source revealed:

"It’s a dream come true. Meghan fell pregnant again toward the end of last year."

The February 14 announcement brings back memories of the late Princess Diana, who was expecting Harry on the same day in 1984. It seems Prince Harry, 36, will celebrate his birthday very close to his second born.

Buckingham Palace celebrated the announcement through a statement, which in part read that The Queen and the Prince of Wales wished Prince Harry and Markle well. This will be Prince Charle's 5th grandchild.

Markel described the moment of her lying in the hospital bed holding her husband's hands, whose face was streaming with tears.

According to a second source, Prince Harry absolutely loves his role as a dad. Those closest to him have also said that he has been beside himself with joy since finding out he'll be welcoming a second child.

The photographer who captured the black and white picture showing Markle's baby bump has reportedly been the couple's friend for a few years. The photographer shared a sweet message on Sunday, Tweeting:

"Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honored to capture it grow."

What makes the pregnancy all the more special is the fact that they'll be welcoming their rainbow baby. This is the term used to describe the child born following the mother's miscarriage.

The Duchess shared her miscarriage experience in an op-ed with "The New York Times" last July. Markel described the moment of her lying in the hospital bed holding her husband's hands, whose face was streaming with tears.

Since settling in their $14.7 million home in Montecito, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have thrived in their life as private citizens. Another insider close to Prince Harry revealed there are no regrets about leaving their royal duties.
