Kathie Lee Gifford's Daughter Cassidy Shares Rare Snap with Her Husband with a Touching Message

Kathie Lee Gifford's daughter Cassidy posted a snapshot of her husband, Ben Wierda, on social media. Cassidy does not usually share photos of her spouse.

Kathie Lee Gifford’s last-born daughter Cassidy penned a touching note to her newly wedded husband on Instagram. Along with the post, she shared a picture of them both while gushing over him.

She captioned her post: “This was one year ago today. Love you so much @letsgetwierda it has been a wild year, but the fact that I get to be your wife is the greatest blessing of all time.”

The photograph shows the actress with her spouse on their wedding day. The picture also shows the couple being joined by their guests as some appear from a mirror reflection.

For their nuptials, 27-year-old Cassidy donned a gorgeous white lace gown. The dress showed off her perfectly fitted slim body with a v-neckline.

Cassidy wore her blonde hair down as she beamed while looking away from the camera, appearing to be in conversation with the other guests while holding her husband's hand. Wierda stood behind his beautiful wife with his arm across her chest.

The project manager wore brown trousers with a navy-blue jersey and a white striped shirt underneath. Next to the couple is one of the guests wearing a black floral dress while holding a champagne glass in her hand.

The married couple got hitched just seven months after they announced their engagement. The pair walked down the aisle in a private ceremony in Michigan in June 2020.

According to Today, the family released a statement that read: “Ben and Cassidy just got married in an intimate setting in his backyard in Michigan. They’re planning on having a big celebration when it’s safe to do so in the future.”

While Cassidy got married that month amid COVID-19, her big brother Cody also got married four months later. The 30-year-old married his longtime love Erika Brown on Labor Day weekend.

Their mother, former TODAY co-host, witnessed the two celebrations seeing her kids tying the knot amid the pandemic. Kathie Lee reportedly revealed to Entertainment Tonight that her children did not experience the weddings they dreamed of.

Although the mom of two has graced the television screens with her presenting skills for decades, not much is known about her last-born, Cassidy. It turns out that the daughter of former football player Frank Gifford played the leading lady in the 2017 Hallmark movie, “Like Cats & Dogs.”

According to Southern Living, Cassidy played the role of Lara alongside co-star Wyatt Nash as Spencer. The romance between the two unfolds after they go to the same town as Spencer visits the town to finish his thesis and Lara goes there to escape the chaos of her life.

Lara is a dog person, and Spencer is a cat person. Their personalities are different, and when circumstances bring them together under the same vacation rental house and their pets, they have to get along with each other.
