How Jennifer Hudson's Only Son Celebrated Valentine's Day with Her Ex-fiancé David (Videos)
Jennifer Hudson's only son David Jr. spent Valentine's Day working out and eating pizza with his famous dad, David Otunga. The adorable pair sure had a lot of fun!
While many across the world celebrated Valentine's Day with their lovers, former WWE star turned fitness guru David Otunga spent the day in the most lovely way — with his 11-year-old son, David Jr.
In a new Instagram post, Otunga shared a video of himself and David Jr. lifting heavy dumbbells during one of their workout sessions in the gym.
The father-son duo donned matching all-black outfits standing next to each other as they effortlessly went through their routine. At only 11, David Jr. already seems to have taken after his father's love for fitness.
Otunga's post also included a video showing four heart-shaped pizzas. The clip showed an excited David Jr. gushing about the special pizzas while thanking his dad.
The former wrestler accompanied the clips with a caption explaining that his post captured how he and David Jr. spent their Valentine's Day. He wrote: "Our #valentinesday workout and #valentines heart-shaped ❤️ pizza 🍕."
The heartwarming post stirred up reactions from fans and followers who trooped to the comments section, leaving sweet comments for the father-son duo.
In 2017, Otunga made headlines when he made an action movie to celebrate Father's Day.
Some described Otunga as a great father, while others noted that they love how the former wrestler spends quality time with his son. Many others left sweet notes, stating how yummy the pizza looked.
Otunga shares his son with his ex-fiance, Jennifer Hudson. The former couple welcomed their bundle of joy in August 2008, and ever since, the two have lovingly doted on him.
Though the romance between Otunga and Hudson did not work out in the long run, this did not affect the former wrestler's relationship with his son as the two are literally inseparable.
Over the years, Otunga has consistently shown the world that he loves nothing more than being a father. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that the former wrestler makes sure to celebrate notable days in special ways.
Despite his successful career in acting and wrestling, for David Otunga Sr., there is no better role than that of a father. In many ways than one, the former wrestler has proved this.
