The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle's first son Archie is set to become a big brother in the coming months, and what a good one he will be.

The adorable boy, who is gradually nearing his 2nd birthday, has been reported to have gotten more active. This is hardly surprising for a boy who started trying to walk at ten months and who began to speak several months after he clocked one.

According to a source close to his mom Markle, the little boy now talks a lot and is more playful. The source also added that Harry has been teaching him how to "kick a ball."

The former members of the royal family both have their hands full with Archie, who is said to be hitting all the necessary milestones a boy his age should be, especially since they relocated to California last year.

Harry and his wife chose to step back from their roles as members of the royal household to live a more sedentary life in the US. They are living the dream, and their secure Santa Barbara home enables their boy to play, grow and learn without disturbance.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first announced news of their second child's imminent coming on Valentine's Day with a photoshoot, which captured them lounging on the grass.

The black and white photo saw Harry seated on the grass barefoot, gazing lovingly at Markle, who lay with her back against the floor and her head on his lap. The expecting mother drew attention to her noticeable baby bump by cradling it with one hand.

Harry wore a simple button-down shirt and pants for the shoot, while Markle was dressed in the same flowing dress made by Carolina Herrera when she was pregnant with Archie.

The stunning photo was allegedly taken by Misan Harriman, a longtime photographer who also happens to be their friend. The joyful news came after Markle revealed she had suffered a miscarriage in July 2020.

Fans hope things will go smoothly for the couple this time around. The sex of the child and the due date is still unknown, and fans can't wait for the arrival of the new bundle of joy.
