According to the source, her musical career is at the top of her priorities, and she is also focused on making sure she maintains sobriety.
In 2018, the talented singer, who has reportedly been in a battle against substance abuse since she was a teenager, opened up about suffering a relapse after six years of being sober.
Lovato made the revelation in June through the emotional song titled "Sober," the following month, she was admitted to the hospital for an alleged drug overdose.
Two years down the line and she has recorded progress in a battle that always seemed uphill. The source claims Lovato is now eating healthy and exercising a lot.
The pair wiped off traces of each other from their respective Instagram pages
For the singer, this is no mean feat. She has suffered from an eating disorder, and recovery from it is a great win. Now that things seem to be looking up for Lovato, it's no surprise that the source is confident she has moved on from her former fiance.
The pair started dating at the beginning of the pandemic. Their relationship became public after Ehrich incidentally crashed her Instagram Live in March 2020.
The romance was fast-tracked, and by July in the same year, Ehrich had popped the big question. Lovato was all for it, having fallen for his charms the night they met.
Things seemed to be going smoothly until September when fans of the singer pointed out old shady tweets Ehrich made about her friends, including Selena Gomez.
Lovato refused to believe that the tweets were real; however, it was noted that their relationship ended towards the end of the month. The breakup did not go down well with Ehrich, who was reported to be in a fragile state after.
He alleged that Lovato, who seemed relieved that his true colors were revealed, had used him. The pair unfollowed each other and wiped off traces of each other from their respective Instagram pages.
Ehrich seems hearty enough to be playing her songs and has even been reported to be ready to work on the love songs he composed while they were together. All's well that ends well.
