THE OBERG-WENTZ FAIRYTALE

The Carson Wentz-Madison Oberg love story started sometime in 2017. Although it is unsure when they started dating, she appeared on his social media in December 2017, after he had surgery for his torn ACL. Captioning a snap of them in the hospital, the Quarterback wrote:

“Surgery [check]. The comeback officially begins now! The Lord truly blessed me with this beautiful young lady to walk by my side…”

The subtle social media declaration came not long after Wentz cleared his social media of all traces of his ex-girlfriend and highschool sweetheart Melissa Ulrich. A snapshot of him and Ulrich on Valentine’s Day just months earlier was also part of the deleted photos.

Fans still remain unsure when exactly the Eagles player and Ulrich parted ways as they did not announce or make any public comments. However, many were delighted to see that he found love again.

LONG WALK TO THE ALTAR

After news of their romance hit the tabloids, the couple were soon seen celebrating holidays together. In fact, come Christmas that same year, the athlete shared a snap of them celebrating Christmas together. He captioned the post:

“New Christmas tradition at the Wentz house! Gingerbread cookie decorating battle...... because everything is a competition.”

Following that sweet declaration of love over some yummy-looking gingerbread cookies, Wentz did not waste any time taking things to the next step.

Early in February 2018, the 28-year-old dropped on one knee right after Super Bowl LII to ask his sweetheart to be his wife. She said yes! He announced on Instagram:

“She said YES! And now Maddie and I both got us a ring ?? can’t wait to marry my best friend!”

Two years after Wentz and his lady love tied the knot, they soon welcomed their daughter. News that Carson Wentz’s daughter, Hadley Jayne Wentz, was born came in April 2020. Again, the sportsman shared the incredible news on social media. He announced:

“Late last night my beautiful wife and I were blessed to welcome our sweet little girl into the World!"

Days before his daughter finally arrived, the QB opened up about his excitement for the new phase of his life in an interview. He revealed that he read books and asked many people for advice as he prepared for her arrival.

In May, just days after Hadley was born, Wentz opened up about his few days of fatherhood and gushed about how it changed his perspective and made him want to be a better person. Wentz is certainly a lucky man with the most beautiful family!
