This month, Jennifer Lopez’s twin children finally became teenagers! A source revealed that she and her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, plan on having a joint celebration for them later.

On Monday, February 22, 2021, twins Max and Emme celebrated their 13th birthday! Their mother, Jennifer Lopez, 51, took to Instagram with a video and paid tribute to them in a heartfelt post.

The clip showed the twins sitting in a large bed with breakfast trays in front of them. The twins opened up cards which they read before Lopez gave them both birthday kisses.

The “Hustlers” actress shares the children with her musician ex-husband, Marc Anthony. In the post's caption, the “Jenny from the Block” singer shared her shock that her children were now teenagers.

She also couldn’t believe that it was 13 years ago when she brought them home in the middle of a snowstorm. Lopez confessed that her “lil’ coconuts” have since rearranged her life for the best.

She revealed that the twins had taught her the true meaning of love and that their journey together had been magical and full of adventure. On the day, Lopez admitted that she was happy and proud but also heartbroken.

She explained how she wished she could freeze time just a little bit. The singer promised her special and sensitive souls that she knew they would rearrange and change the world in their own ways.

She concluded the message by declaring her unending love for them. Her fiancé Alex Rodriguez didn’t appear in the clip, as an Entertainment Tonight (ET) source shared they were in separate places.

The insider claimed Lopez and her children were in the Dominican Republic to film her latest movie, “Shotgun Wedding.” The former baseball player was currently in Miami, and the couple was "doing great.”

Lopez chose to spend the twins' birthday with them, and her fiancé was home with his two daughters, Ella, 12, and Natasha, 16. The former athlete was also focusing on work and gave his fiancé some time with her children.

Even though they spent the twins' birthday separately, the source shared that they were planning on doing something for them together. Rodriguez still honored the children on their special day.

He took to Instagram, where he shared some family photos and videos. An E-Online source also shared that the duo, who went to couple’s therapy, was doing well despite cheating rumors against Rodriguez.

The former athlete was recently linked to “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy. In February 2008, Lopez actually made an appearance at New York Fashion Week while at the end of her pregnancy with her twins.
