Megan Thee Stallion took fans down memory lane with a recent throwback photo on Instagram. The photo, taken 16 years ago, featured the rapper posing next to her grandmother.
American rapper Megan Jovon Ruth Pete is at the height of her career with one hit record after another. Of late, everything the rapper touches turns to gold, and she credits her success to the strong women who raised her.
One of those women is her grandmother, who she recently posted on her Instagram page. Pete, who is known by the stage name, Megan Thee Stallion, delighted her fans with the rare throwback photo.
In the snap, a young Pete was captured posing with her grandmother at a restaurant table. The "Savage" rapper looked beautiful while dressed in all black with her long black hair cascading down to her cleavage.
Pete's grandmother was dressed in a blue outfit paired with a necklace and gold hoop earrings. The pair's happiness was evident in the snap, which she captioned:
"Omg this is me in the 11th grade! My nanny just sent me this picture from 2011 lmao I had finally figured out how I wanted my hair to lay."
Fans were delighted to see what Pete looked like as a teenager and rushed to her comments section to express their sentiments. The consensus is that the "Hot Girl Summer" rapper was always a "hot girl."
One fan asked, "How were you that pretty in 11th grade" while another commented, "Girl, your WHOLE life span you’ve been beautiful, but we been knew from over here[sic]."
Further evidence that Pete has always been stunning lies in her moniker, "stallion," which she earned as a teenager because of her height and curvaceous body, which she's had since her youth.
The "Body" rapper, who is currently dating Pardison Fontaine, is not shy to flaunt her attractive physique and beauty. Much of her music talks about her sex appeal, and her performances often involve revealing outfits and suggestive dance routines.
Pete's confidence has elevated her to stardom in the music industry, allowing her the opportunity to work with big-name artists like Beyoncé, Cardi B., and Ariana Grande.
Additionally, the fashion industry has also noticed the "Cry Baby" rapper's appeal. Recently, Pete appeared in a fun campaign for Coach's Fall 2021 collection.
Aside from a fabulous physique and immense talent, Pete's success results from her hard work and perseverance. The rapper maintained these traits even after the devastating loss of her mother in March 2019.
Pete's mother, Holly Thomas, who was a former rapper, was her manager and inspiration. Following her sudden death, the "WAP" rapper vowed to continue pursuing a music career with her new management company, Roc Nation.
