Haddon admitted that she fell in love with the buzz but soon noticed that she was unable to figure out her limits. It took her a long time to admit that she was an alcoholic as she continued making excuses the further she slipped.

In another honest article shared on her blog, Haddon chronicled how recovery changed her life and brought her back from the edge. She admitted that returning from such dangerous extremes was not easy, and neither was it for the faint of heart.

In the years to come, Haddon found love again after finding herself. She married actor Marc Blucas on July 25, 2009. The Marc Blucas-Ryan Haddon romance soon led to two children.
