'The Crown' Fans Want Meghan Markle to Play Herself after Bombshell Interview — See Comments
Following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's interview with Oprah Winfrey, fans of "The Crown" have called Meghan Markle to play herself in the series.
"The Crown" has been a hit since it aired and gave the public an insight into the activities of the royal family, and over the weekend, they got further details into the drama of the esteemed family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah aired over the weekend, and the couple made some high claims about the royal family, revealing life away from the camera.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, in their interview, accused the royal family of racial prejudice, unfair treatment of Markle in particular, and denying their son security.
While the interview generated different reactions, some sections of fans have called for Netflix to cash in on the opportunity by casting Markle to play a part in "The Crown."
Fans said they would be pleased to have the former actress pick up her acting robes again and retell her story, but this time around, as a character in the ongoing series.
Recent seasons of "The Crown" have focused on British monarch Queen Elizabeth II's reign and touched on Prince Charles and Princess Diana's failed marriage.
Show creator Peter Morgan said the couple's romance is too soon.
The story will also open up on their messy divorce and Princess Diana's lonely life after the divorce, but fans think having Markle close the deal will be a happy ending.
Taking to their Twitter, other fans tweeted their support of having the Duchess of Sussex on the series. One of such fans tweeted, "The Crown producers better be working overtime because this is where it's at. This is the season finale."
Another fan wanting to see the mother of one on the series wrote, "Just wait until Meghan Markle plays herself in The Crown." One fan tweeted that Zendaya had better practiced her British accent because she would be playing Markle in a few years.
While most fans called for Markle to be a part of the series, another fan felt that Prince Harry and Markle's interview with Oprah was more explosive than "The Crown" itself.
Following the highly anticipated interview, one "The Crown" fan could expect good seasons ahead and tweeted, "... Didn't even consider Meghan could play herself." After seeing the interview, another fan declared, " Meghan Markle should play Meghan Markle on the crown
While fans anticipate Markle to join the train, Prince Harry reportedly said he has no issues with the series. One fan said the series was better than the social media criticism his family faced and called it fiction based on real events.
Suzanne Mackie, creative director of Left Bank, the production company behind "The Crown," reportedly said Markle playing herself on the series would be a no-brainer.
According to reports, fans wish to have Harry and Markle's love story on the series might not be a reality as the series is scheduled to end in season six, which plays events in the early 2000s.
Show creator Peter Morgan said the couple's romance is too soon, and if it would play out on TV, it might have to be when the show is revived some other time.
