The 19-year-old beauty, Maya Brady, is a rising star in the UCLA Bruins softball team and the niece of football icon, Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady.

Tom Brady is incomparable in his achievements, having won seven Super Bowl Championship rings. Still, he has revealed that there is another athlete in his family he considers to be his match.

Tom has described his niece, Maya Brady, as the "most dominant athlete" in the family. The 19-year-old plays softball for the UCLA Bruins, and she is already making an impression with her steel resolve and athletic prowess.

A TALENTED FAMILY

Fans of star quarterback Tom Brady know that he grew up the baby brother of three older sisters, Nancy, Julie, and Maureen. But they may not know that he considered his oldest sister Maureen, the most talented athlete in the family. He said:

“She was the best athlete in our family. Great competitor. She was an all-American softball player. So much toughness.”

Maureen Brady was an All-Star softball player at Fresno State University, and she has passed on the torch to her daughter, Maya Brady, whom she shares with her husband, Brian Timmons. Tom commented on his niece's prowess on Twitter:

"Maya Brady, the most dominant athlete in the Brady family...by far!"

STAR OF THE FAMILY

Maya started showing signs that she'd inherited her family's sports talent in high school. As a senior, she was named the Los Angeles Daily News Player of the Year and ranked as the # 2 recruit in the US.

Unfortunately for Maya, the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed her freshman year with the Bruins, but she won the Softball America Freshman Player of the Year award after scoring four home runs in her first five games.

Maya may well be on her way to scoring herself a spot on the US Olympic softball team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Being labeled the "dominant athlete" in the family is quite a distinction, considering her mother's record in college softball, uncle Tom's preeminence as a football player, and her uncle Kevin Youkilis' achievements as a two-time World Series champion.

With Tom rumored to be considering retirement -- at 43, he has one of the longest-lasting careers in the NFL -- Maya will be left to carry the family's honor as a superlative sportswoman forward into the future.

OLYMPIC BRADY

Maya may well be on her way to scoring herself a spot on the US Olympic softball team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and win herself an Olympic Gold Medal to add to the family's already spectacular trophy collection.

One thing Maya has in common with her uncle Tom is her resilience, her determination, and her drive to win. Her ability is an easy match for her ambition, so we can look forward to seeing this young lady go far.

SISTERS

Maureen isn't the only Brady girl with a talent for sports. The second eldest sister Nancy played softball, too, as well as basketball. Julie apparently doesn't play sports, but she made up for it by marrying star baseball player Kevin Youkilis.

Tom is happily married to Brazillian top model Gisele Bundchen, with whom he shares son Benjamin, 11, and daughter Vivian, 8. Maybe Benjamin will be out there playing football just like his dad in eight or nine years.

As for Maya Brady, she is forging her way as the new sports star in the family, a position she will be defending against all comers, including her potentially super-talented little cousins. This is her moment, and she's grabbing it.
