African-American actress and director Regina King matches up to expectations as she set many pulses racing with her stunning red Versace dress.

After her appearance at the Emmy Awards last September, the popular actress and movie director Regina King did not fail to match all fashion expectations at the 2021 Critics Choice Awards.

In a recent Instagram post by her stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, King appeared in an exquisitely tailored dress as she posed on a balcony.

The posts entailing two pictures showed her dressed in a bright red gown. Despite being simple, the gown remained classy. The sleeveless full-length gown draped over one shoulder with a gold accessory.

The Oscar winner looked gorgeous as her hair, parted down in the middle, was styled into two long braids with slightly bushy tufts at the end. She topped off this look with chunky rings and studs by the renowned jewelry maker, Cartier.

The red Versace dress was part of an ensemble for the red carpet. According to Instyle, the ensemble included some other classy dresses, including a stunning dark blue sequined dress.

The dark blue dress was designed by Versace Atelier. The impeccable details on the dress comprised a criss-cross neckline, ruffled sleeves, snake-like pleats, and a high slit.

According to a report by People, Wayman and Micah, her stylists, said King’s fashion picks radiate a “message of strength.”

King’s outstanding fashion sense matches up to her acting and directorial prowess. The Emmy-nominated actress has been featured in several movies.

She also made her directorial debut with the movie “One Night in Miami.” She was nominated for the Best Director category in the Golden Globes for this movie.
