Hello!: Pregnant Meghan Markle to Pass down a Precious Gift to Her Baby Girl

Before Duchess Meghan became royalty, she revealed that she had a unique accessory that she wished to give her daughter one day. Her dream might become a reality since she’s expecting a baby girl.

Duchess Meghan, 39, revealed on February 14, 2021, that she and her husband, Prince Harry, 36, were expecting their second child. They made the revelation through a social media post by a friend.

Misan Harriman shared a black-and-white photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lounging in their garden. In the image, Markle lay on her husband’s lap as he sat on the ground.

Harry cradled his wife’s head with one hand as he smiled while looking straight into her eyes. The Duchess smiled back at her husband while laying a hand on her growing baby bump.

Harriman shared his gratitude for being allowed to take the special picture. He revealed that he took the photo remotely via an iPad before following up with another post about the upcoming child’s gender.

On March 8, 2021, the photographer followed-up with a new image of the whole Sussex family. This time, the royal couple was seen standing while Meghan carried their son, Archie, 1, in her arms.

The Duchess smiled happily again, but this time her husband’s face wasn’t visible, as was their child’s. By the time Harriman uploaded the post, Harry and Meghan had already shared that they were expecting a baby girl.

Now, according to Hello!, Markle might be able to give her baby daughter a special gift. In September 2015, before she became a royal, the “Suits” actress was interviewed by the publication.

Duchess Meghan wore a necklace by Meyer for her New York baby shower in 2019.

At the time, she was 34 and the celebrity brand ambassador for Reitmans. She spoke to the publication about how some of her jewelry had a special meaning to her, like her Cartier French Tank watch.

Markle explained that when her series was picked up for a third season, she’d felt it was a special milestone. That’s when she splurged on the two-tone version of the watch for herself, having it engraved it on the back:

“To M.M. From M.M.”

She explained to Hello! that she planned on gifting it to her daughter. The then-future royal shared how she felt certain pieces became special when one had a connection to them.

According to Marie Claire, some of the Duchess’ favorite jewelry brands include Jennifer Meyer, Shaun Leane, and Catbird. She wore a necklace by Meyer for her New York baby shower in 2019.
