Meghan Markle Sends Friend Jessica Mulroney Special Gift Months after Claims of Racist Bullying

Months after their friendship came to a halt following a fallout, Meghan Markle sent celebrity stylist Jessica Mulroney a special gift for her birthday.

Canadian stylist Jessica Mulroney recently turned 41 and enjoyed birthday tributes and gifts from her celebrity friends, but one gift stood out from the rest.

The stylist shared the cute picture on her Instagram Stories of an adorable bouquet of pink roses, which she got from her friend, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.

Markle sent the touching flowers to her old pal, which showed that old bridges had been mended and their rift quashed. Mulroney captioned the photo, "Luckiest friend XXXX, THX MM."

The duchess and the 41-year-old stylist forged a friendship during their time on "Suits," and became inseparable through the years.

Mulroney was present at Markle's highly publicized royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018 and even had two of her sons play the coveted role of page boys.

Things came crashing down between the pair a few years later after Mulroney and influencer Sasha Exeter clashed over claims that the stylist was racist.

She described the duchess as a kind and loving soul.

The 41-year-old issued a public apology and cited her relationship with the duchess to prove her love for black people, which did not go down well with the 39-year-old duchess.

Markle found it offensive that Mulroney used their friendship as a defense. While she remained close to her, she began to distance herself from the fashion star.

The saga caused the bridal fashion consultant some opportunities and made her lose some high-profile clients. Sources close to the duo revealed that things were no longer the same between Mulroney and Markle.

Mulroney, during an interview, revealed that she was hurt by the racial claims she suffered. She said that she felt betrayed by those close to her for not standing up for her during the months of backlash.

While some people accused her of taking advantage of the duchess for selfish gains, the stylist noted that she had declined several interviews to talk about her friend because she wanted to protect her.

Despite the distance they have experienced in recent months, reports revealed that they have remained in touch via calls and text. The 41-year-old revealed that Markle FaceTimes her and checks up on her often. She described the duchess as a kind and loving soul.

Following the backlash Markle received amidst claims that she bullied her staff member, Mulroney came to her defense and remarked that the mother of one was excellent at dealing with the press and the pressure of politics while staying calm kind.
