Piers Morgan Gets Cake in the Face as He Celebrates His Birthday for the 2nd Time Amid Lockdown
Piers Morgan celebrated his birthday for the 2nd time amid the COVID-19 lockdown. The renowned journalist turned 56 had a fun-filled bash and had his cake smashed in his face.
Piers Morgan is living life to the fullest amid his controversial exit from “Good Morning Britain.” Yesterday, the journalist marked his 56th birthday and took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse into the celebration.
According to reports, Morgan, who turned 56 yesterday, held an intimate hang-out at the garden in his home. In the image uploaded, the English Broadcaster was surrounded by three cakes as he held a pint of beer in hand.

The delicious baked treats were made into several fun designs. One cake was designed like a cheese and fruit platter, while the other white cake had a decoration that read, “Wake Up by Piers Morgan” ― the title of his book.
Between the cakes was a mini beer keg from Harvey’s Brewery alongside several bottles of exotic wines. Behind the celebrant was hung several birthday cards received. He wrote in the caption, “Happy 2nd lockdown Birthday... to me.”

He continued, appreciating the people who sent him the cakes and alcoholic beverages, and joked about being without a hosting job, saying he wouldn’t have to worry about doing a breakfast show with a hangover.
Morgan announced his exit from “GMB” after he and guest co-host Alex Beresford got into a heated argument.

Morgan took to celebration to another level on his Instagram story sharing a snap of him thanking his publishers at Harper Collins for sending him the cake with his book title before playfully smashing it into his face.
The celebration was a family affair as his four kids joined the journalist ― Spencer, Elise, Albert, and Stanley ― in the garden as they bonded over a barbecue session. His wife Celia Walden wasn’t in the frame.
Since his exit from ‘GMB,” Morgan has reportedly been spending time with his family at the countryside home in Newick. Earlier this week, the television personality showed off his lavish property.
The home has an extensive garden and an outdoor dining table with a cream parasol and coordinating chairs. Morgan also owns another property in West London and a $5.7 million house in Hollywood.
