Piers Morgan is living life to the fullest amid his controversial exit from “Good Morning Britain.” Yesterday, the journalist marked his 56th birthday and took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse into the celebration.
According to reports, Morgan, who turned 56 yesterday, held an intimate hang-out at the garden in his home. In the image uploaded, the English Broadcaster was surrounded by three cakes as he held a pint of beer in hand.
The delicious baked treats were made into several fun designs. One cake was designed like a cheese and fruit platter, while the other white cake had a decoration that read, “Wake Up by Piers Morgan” ― the title of his book.
Between the cakes was a mini beer keg from Harvey’s Brewery alongside several bottles of exotic wines. Behind the celebrant was hung several birthday cards received. He wrote in the caption, “Happy 2nd lockdown Birthday... to me.”
He continued, appreciating the people who sent him the cakes and alcoholic beverages, and joked about being without a hosting job, saying he wouldn’t have to worry about doing a breakfast show with a hangover.
