Lil Scrappy & His Ex Erica Dixon Celebrate Daughter Emani's 16th Birthday with Sweet Tributes

Lil Scrappy and his ex Erica Dixon's daughter Emani just marked her sweet 16th birthday, and the reality stars couldn't hide their excitement as they commemorated the special day with heartfelt Instagram tributes.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" stars Darryl "Lil Scrappy" Richardson and Erica Dixon's relationship may have ended years ago, but the exes are forever bonded by their love for their daughter, Emani Richardson.

On March 31, Emani marked her milestone 16th birthday, and both reality stars took a walk down memory lane and shared rare throwback photos of the memorable moments they've had with their daughter.

In her post, Dixon recalled the day she gave birth to Emani while showing pictures of the teenager as a baby and toddler. The first picture brought a sense of nostalgia as the model could be seen holding her baby during her younger days.

Dixon, 36, was only 20 years when she welcomed her first child. More pictures showed how much Emani has grown to look just like her mother over the years. The caption read:

"You’re such a stunning young lady. I love everything about you, especially [your] pure heart. Continue to be beautiful inside and out."

Richardson echoed the same sentiments in his lengthy Instagram tribute, where he admitted that he was overwhelmed by the memories and the joy he felt on the big day. He accompanied the post with a slideshow of heartwarming throwback photos.

The "Money In The Bank" hitmaker also shared some memories of his daughter holding and playing with one of his younger children. He captioned:

"Knowing [you're] not a baby anymore scares me cause I’m your Bodyguard in this messed up world."

Both Dixon and Richardson's comment sections were abuzz with celebratory birthday wishes for Emani. As the daughter of two celebrities, the teenager has grown up in the public eye, and fans have witnessed some of her previous milestones.

In 2019, Dixon delighted her fans when she shared photos of Emani dressed up before attending her 8th-grade formal dance. The then-14-year-old looked stunning in an orange feathered dress, strappy heels, and impeccable makeup.

Emani has also been cast into the spotlight due to her parents' strained relationship. Dixon and Richardson's back and forth co-parenting struggles were a significant part of their storyline on "LHHA."

In 2019, "The "Sucka 4 Luv" rapper called his daughter's mother a "basic baby mama" out of frustration as he claimed she had been peddling lies about him and his efforts as a father.

Despite their co-parenting struggles, Dixon and Richardson have both moved on with their lives. The "Born To Live" rapper married fellow reality star Adi "Bambi" Benson, with whom he welcomed two kids, Breland and Xylo Richardson.

Dixon welcomed twin daughters, Embrii and Eryss, in 2019. The model appeared alongside her ex and his wife, Benson, in the reality spinoff, "VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition," which aired through March this year.
