Ne-Yo's Wife Crystal Smith Asks Fans for Prayers for Their Unborn Baby in a Touching Message
Ne-Yo's wife, Crystal Smith, has sought prayer support as she expressed pregnancy concerns on Instagram. She stated that she is "not ready" to lose her unborn child.
Crystal Smith, Ne-Yo's wife, is fearing what any pregnant woman would be afraid about. She recently took to her Instagram feed to express her anxious thoughts.
Although the 36-year-old former TV reality star did not share specific details in her post, Smith wrote that she should remain strong for her unborn child and for herself.

In her post, Smith added that she has enough faith to face her current ordeal. She wished for her unborn baby to "stay" because it was not the right time yet. Smith wrote:
"I’m not ready and I won’t be for many years to come."
While going through a difficult situation, Smith found comfort in sharing a picture of herself wearing a dress while riding on a white horse. The picture appeared to be a part of her maternity shoots she shared on Instagram.
Crystal's unborn baby will be her third child with Ne-Yo. Last February, the R&B singer announced that they were expecting another addition to their family and felt "overjoyed" with their news.
Ne-Yo shared the announcement along with a video clip of him and Smith embracing each other as the "So Sick" crooner caressed his wife's baby bump.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, are already the proud parents of Shaffer Chimere, Jr., 5, and two-year-old Roman Alexander-Raj. They welcomed their kids in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
Ne-Yo, whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith, is also a doting dad of two other children - nine-year-old Mason Evan and Madilyn Grace, 10. The "Miss Independent" hitmaker shares them with his ex-girlfriend Monyetta Shaw.
Having four children sounds a handful to some, but Ne-Yo thinks the opposite. He said in a previous interview that it has been chaotic, but he is enjoying his time with his kids.
With his fifth baby on the way, he earlier shared that he wants to undergo a vasectomy. However, Smith discouraged him from getting the surgery as they might want another baby in the future.
Before Smith's pregnancy and Ne-Yo's fatherhood realizations, the couple announced in February 2020 that they would separate. The decision came after Smith learned from the tabloids that Ne-Yo was divorcing her.
But Smith and Ne-Yo rekindled their romance. The latter realized that he never wanted to separate from his wife. Their relationship strengthened during the quarantine period.
Ne-Yo and his family spent their Christmas at home amid the ongoing pandemic. He marked the most wonderful season with a family picture where they all dressed in matching white shirts and jeans.
