André Murillo Is Tori Kelly's Handsome Husband — inside the Singer's Personal Life
"The Masked Singer" contestant Tori Kelly has been happily married to German basketball player André Murillo since 2018.
Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Tori Kelly can't stop gushing about her husband, Rostock Seawolves basketball player André Murillo. The couple seems to have cracked the secret to happiness, which includes their devotion to God.
The 9th season "American Idol" contestant and her German-born husband will celebrate their third wedding anniversary in May 2021, but they started dating in 2016.

SECRET LOVE
Neither Tori nor André have revealed how they met and fell in love; all that is known is that the couple crossed each other's paths sometime in 2016. For over a year, Tori managed to keep her romance under wraps.
Because Tori lives in the United States, and André -- who was raised in Southern California -- was playing basketball in Germany, the relationship was long distance.
The Grammy Award-winning gospel singer proved that she's got the pipes and the grit to tackle anything from rock to pop.

WILD PAST
Like Tori, André is a devout Christian, but he went through a wild phase in his life. André attended Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, where he played basketball for two years.
The basketball player attended a party in Concordia, which ended in an altercation that saw him stabbed and left in critical condition. As a consequence of his injury, André started using drugs and ended up being expelled from Concordia.
RETURN TO FAITH
André's spiral into drugs ended when he turned to God and embraced his faith once again. He enrolled in Biola University in La Mirada, California, where he majored in Bible Studies.
Of course, André continued playing his beloved basketball at Biola, and when he graduated, he was recruited by the German Pro A Basketball League Hamburg Towers and moved back to his native Germany.
ENGAGED
In September 2017, André proposed to the gospel singer, and she accepted. Both of the lovebirds posted snaps of the occasion on their Instagram accounts, and André captioned his:
"To have and to hold... to cherish and protect. My best friend said 'yes'"
DREAM WEDDING
André and Tori's wedding took place on May 20, 2018, on a cliff near Los Angeles, and even though the couple kept the details secret, they did share a few snaps of the big day.
For the occasion, Tori stepped out in a breathtaking Galia Lahav lace gown with a flared mermaid skirt that swept out into a dramatic train. The bride wore her blond locks loose and carried a gorgeous bouquet of classic ivory roses.
FAMILY PLANS
As yet, Tori and André don't seem to be in a hurry to have children. André has nephews and nieces that the couple enjoys spoiling and two cute furbabies named Dobby and Frodo.
André is a huge "Lord of the Rings" fan, and the couple dressed up for Halloween with the singer as an elf and the basketball player as Gandalf. Tori has confessed that what they most enjoy is going to Disney World.
Tori's participation in "The Masked Singer" turned out to be one of the most exciting in the program's history. The singer, who hid under the guise of the seahorse, kept the judges guessing up until the last moment.
The Grammy Award-winning gospel singer proved that she's got the pipes and the grit to tackle anything from rock to pop. Tori belted out “Only Girl” by Rihanna, Celine Dion's “My Heart Will Go On,” and Britney Spears's “Baby One More Time.”
The versatile singer had the judges stumped as she presented each song in a completely vocal style. She even fooled Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger with whom she'd worked before.
