Robert Irwin Gushes Over His New Role as an Uncle to His Sister Bindi's Newborn Daughter Grace

Robert Irwin doted on his beloved niece Grace in a heartwarming photo. The teenager gushed over his new role as uncle to his sister Bindi’s daughter and opened up about his hopes for her.

Robert Irwin is riding on cloud nine, and it is all because of the family’s newest addition, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Yesterday, the teenager took to Instagram to gush over his new role as an uncle.

Robert uploaded a three-slide image with baby grace stealing the spotlight with her cuteness. In the first snapshot, the teenage conservationist cradled his sleeping niece as he smiled sweetly at the camera.

The next slide was a group picture of the family. Proud parents Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell stood on Robert’s left while first-time grandmother Terri Irwin was at the right. They all doted on the newborn. Robert gushed in the caption:

“Being Grace’s uncle is awesome!! I can’t wait to watch this little warrior grow up and take on the world.”

The television personality opened up about his hopes for the bundle of joy, declaring that little Grace would be handling the zoo in no time. He then got emotional, admitting that it is a privilege to share his knowledge with Grace.

Bindi and Powell welcomed Grace on March 25, which also happened to be their first wedding anniversary.

The 17-year-old raved about the joy of teaching Grace everything about wildlife and telling her stories about growing up in the zoo. Since Bindi and Powell welcomed their baby girl in March, Robert has been nothing but overjoyed.

Yesterday’s post comes days after Robert celebrated his sister on National Siblings Day. He showed off the tight bond between him and Bindi with a lovely photo of them in the zoo featuring baby Grace.

The tight siblings twinned in matching black shirts as Bindi held on to Grace while Robert’s hand gently rested on the infant. In the caption, Robert praised the 22-year-old for being the “absolute best sister” and an amazing mum.

Fans may recall that Bindi and Powell welcomed Grace on March 25, which also happened to be their first wedding anniversary. Robert marked the safe arrival of his niece with a sweet post.

Robert was seen cradling the newborn in the hospital while staring at her affectionately. The television personality declared that it was time for the “uncle adventures” to begin in the caption.
