Many fans took to the comment section to send him birthday wishes along with their praises and kind messages. One fan remarked that the "Big Momma's House" star is his favorite comedian of all time.
Martin has achieved tremendous success in the entertainment industry. The German-born actor rose to prominence in 1992 for hosting the "Def Comedy Jam" on HBO Network.
He later transitioned from hosting a comedy show to acting in several movies. Cementing his place in Hollywood was his performance in the 1995 movie "Bad Boys," considered one of the best films in the last three decades.

Martin recently celebrated the movie's 25th anniversary by sharing a throwback picture of himself together with his fellow co-star Will Smith.
Amid his success following the film's release, Martin dealt with personal struggles. In 1996, he was reportedly involved in a series of crimes, including drug use and sexual harassment.
But Martin learned from his past mistakes and moved on. Additionally, his father and brother's deaths and his previous health scare paved the way for him to make better choices in life.
The actor has shown he has changed as he bounced back to making more movies. One of his latest films was "Bad Boys for Life," which was released last year.
