SAD EXIT

Bergerson is the original "Dancing With The Stars" host. He stood on the dancing stage alongside a string of competitors from the first season in 2005 until season 28.

Bergerson's hint at a return to "Dancing With The Stars" contradicts his former comments about the possibility of him coming back.

July 2020, the former host took to Twitter to reveal the news that the show decided to let him go. His co-host, Erin Andrews, also didn't make the cut leaving both of the hosts without a job.

HOSTS REUNITE

After their sad separation as hosts in 2020, Bergerson and Andrews maintained a close relationship. The two even met up for a "Dancing With The Stars" reunion as they shared cocktails.

65-year-old Bergerson shared a snap of him and Andrews enjoying each other's company at a local restaurant. Andrews reposted the snap of the friends, captioning the post:

"Always something in the works. Repost from @tombergeron. Reunited & it feels so good ? with @erinandrews"

NOT RETURNING

Bergerson's hint at a return to "Dancing With The Stars" contradicts his former comments about the possibility of him coming back as the competition's host. In an interview done in December 2020, Bergerson shared it wasn't going to happen.

The former host revealed that many people had said that they wouldn't watch the popular show if he wasn't the one standing behind the microphone, but Bergerson encouraged them to move on because he had.

Since departing from the dancing show, Bergerson hasn't been sitting with his hands folded, waiting for the next gig. Instead, he landed the position as the virtual host of a Virtual Gala & Table Reading of "It's A Wonderful Life."

The event took place in December last year and saw Bergerson get back into his hosting groove after his long-standing job ended only a few months prior.
