Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are headed down the aisle soon, and they decided to throw an engagement party with their loved ones. The reality TV star showed off her engagement ring on her Instagram Stories ahead of the celebration, and it's massive.

Before the party, Young got ready at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort with her future mother-in-law, Dominique El Moussa. She revealed she was having "the most fun" while having her makeup done, sipping a drink and showing off her huge engagement ring in the process.

After getting ready, she headed to Louie's by the Bay in Newport Beach, California, where the couple partied the night away with their friends and family. The "Selling Sunset" star wore a gorgeous white jumpsuit and accessorized her look with a neat high ponytail and a pearl barrette for the party.

She gushed about El Moussa on Instagram, expressing how happy she is to be with him. The "Flip or Flop" star popped the question on July 2020, after a long marriage to Christina Haack that lasted from 2009 to 2018.

During the time of the engagement, the reality TV star revealed it took three months to plan the elaborate marriage proposal. They had a production crew with them, but it was a private ceremony that marked the beginning of something special for the couple.

El Moussa shares daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 5, with Haack, who also recently divorced husband Ant Anstead after less than two years of marriage. Meanwhile, he is about to get a second chance at love with Young, and the both of them are smitten with one another.

At the end of the day, El Moussa and Young have agreed to put the two children first no matter what.

Although she has no children of her own, Young has accepted her new role as stepmother to her fiancé's two kids. She admits that raising his kids could be a lot to manage, but she believes she is doing a great job so far.

In fact, it's been almost two years since she first moved in with them. She has seen Taylor and Brayden grow up right before her very eyes, and it's been a touching experience for her.

El Moussa and his ex-wife co-parent the children together, and Haack gets to take their children home to her own house once in a while. At the end of the day, the "Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa" star and Young have agreed to put the two children first no matter what.
