Heather Rae Young & Tarek El Moussa's Ex-wife Christina Haack Talk to Each Other Daily – Here's Why
Heather Rae Young is getting ready to become Tarek El Moussa's children's stepmother, which requires open and direct communication with her fiancé's ex-wife.
Heather Rae Young is putting her fiancé, Tarek El Moussa's children's needs above her own as she prepares to become their official stepmother. She opened up about what that means for her relationship with El Moussa's ex, Christina Haack.
Co-parenting seems to come naturally to Young and Haack as the stepmom-to-be shared that the two women talk to each other regularly, always keeping the wellbeing of the children as their common goal.

COMMUNICATE DAILY
The "Selling Sunset" star doesn't have a problem with Haack's constant presence in her family life as she realizes that the former couple's children always need to come first. Young said:
“We communicate daily about the kids, and they’re the most important thing in the world to all of us. So, as long as the kids are happy, we’re all happy.”
Haack and El Moussa tied the knot in 2009 but decided to call it to quits in 2018. They share a daughter Taylor, 10, and their son Brayden, 5. A year after the divorce, El Moussa and Young coupled up and got engaged 12 months later.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Haack isn't only the mother of El Moussa's children but also his business partner and "Flip or Flop" co-star. The new woman in El Moussa's life is yet to feature on their show, but there is hope for a potential cameo.
[Haack] filed for divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead last year September.
Young shared that she is open to the idea of switching her place on "Selling Sunsets" to make an appearance on her fiancé's home restoration show and that it would be a fun experience.
EXTRA MOM
While Haack and Young have figured out a system of raising Brayden and Taylor together, it hasn't always been easy. Young opened up about the initial adjustment in the family when she was introduced, saying:
"The most challenging [thing] was coming in when they were already 3 and 8 and they're already little people, they already have the personalities, they already had a routine."
Nonetheless, the television personality persevered and was able to set the necessary boundaries with the two children so that they know what is expected of them in Young and El Moussa's house.
EX-HUSBAND AND WIFE
With El Moussa's fiancé and ex-wife figuring out how to manage their relationship and both be mothers to the two children, he also had to work on his relationship with Haack.
He recently revealed that his relationship with his ex-wife, both at work and home, looks different than before but that the two "Flip or Flop" stars are in a good place with each other.
Haack has been facing challenges of her own as of late. She filed for divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead, last September after being married for less than two years.
The "Wheeler Dealers" star welcomed a son, Hudson London, with Haack in September 2019. Haack announced the split on her Instagram page, saying that the children are their top priority as they come to terms with life apart.
