While speaking in a confessional, Jenner revealed that he believes his relationship with Carter ran its course. He further opened up about how life has been for him following their divorce.
A few weeks after announcing their split, Carter was spotted locking lips with singer Miley Cyrus who had also just separated from her then-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
Meanwhile, Jenner had also been in a few relationships since their split last summer. He has been linked to women like Josie Canseco and Daisy Keech.
During the confessional, Jenner noted that the months following their divorce were tough but added that he soon realized it was their new reality.
"The Hills:New Beginnings" will also feature an appearance from Kristin Cavallari.
He further revealed that even though he and Carter are separated, they have found a way to stay in each other's lives by maintaining their friendship.
The camera then shows Carter thanking Jenner for apologizing to her during a previous conversation they had about their separation.
Carter explained that though they have never publicly spoken about what led to their divorce, she appreciated Jenner taking responsibility and admitting that his drinking had to do with it.
In response, Jenner revealed there were factors in their marriage that led him to drink. One of them was the pressure of having kids.
Though Carter only nodded to what her estranged husband said, she accused Jenner of using her as an excuse for his drinking in the confessional.
In addition to Carter and Jenner's breakup details, "The Hills: New Beginnings" will also feature an appearance from Kristin Cavallari, who will feature in only one episode.
Born August 21, 1983, Jenner has featured in several reality shows, including "The Princes of Malibu" and "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
While also doubling as a fashion model for some of the world's top brands, the reality star is believed to have garnered a net worth of about $10 million.
Undoubtedly, Jenner is successful in his own right, and just like his famous parent, Caitlyn Jenner, he has left a mark in the entertainment industry.
