Us Weekly: Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Put a Lot of Effort into Celebrating Archie's 2nd Birthday
A royal source spoke to Us Weekly and shared that although the Sussexes want their son to have a humble childhood, they went the extra mile to make him feel special on his second birthday on May 6, 2021.
Harry and Meghan Markle made Archie a birthday card and wrote a sweet poem for him. They also spoilt him with gifts, including outdoor toys and an adorable birthday outfit.

This will be Archie's last birthday as an only child as he and his parents are set to welcome his little sister soon. Markle and Harry announced they were expecting a second child in February 2021.
The couple also honored Archie on the Archewell Foundation Website. They shared a new filtered photo of him from behind, holding a beautiful bouquet of foil birthday balloons.
Markle and Harry asked their supporters to honor Archie's birthday by donating to their initiative to help vaccinate people against COVID-19. They also took a moment to thank people who had previously donated to charity in Archie's name.
Besides honoring Archie charitably, a source revealed to Closer that the Sussexes planned a lovely birthday, which included BBQ, spending time in the pool, and playing in their lush California home garden.
He showed off his vocabulary skills during an Archewell audio podcast.
According to the source, Prince Harry was put on shopping duty by his wife and made sure to get all sorts of goodies, including decorations, balloons, a delicious cake, and even a chocolate fountain.
Although Harry's family was not present on the special day, there was a zoom call from his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth. She also sent a gift for her great-grandson. His other family members also made sure to celebrate.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other royal family members all celebrate Archie on their respective Instagram accounts. Middleton and William also sent Archie a gift from their three children.
A source revealed that Markle and Prince Harry feel incredibly blessed to have such an articulate son. Apparently, he is already learning to count and has been repeating "two" the whole week.
He showed off his vocabulary skills during an Archewell audio podcast, and with encouragement from his dad, he said "Happy New year" to the listeners of the podcast.
Little Archie is also turning into a little social butterfly like his dad, as a source revealed to Closer Weekly that he has made a few friends in California and is excited to be around children his age.
