Closer Weekly: Harry & Meghan's Son Archie Made a Few 'Friends' in LA to Mark 2nd Birthday
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrate their firstborn's second birthday this week, and the parents have pulled out all the stops.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are celebrating their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor's second birthday, and a source revealed he has made a few friends who can celebrate with him.
This will be Archie's last birthday as an only child as his expecting parents are expected to give birth to his sister soon. A source revealed that the Duke and Duchess are working hard to make the day, May 6, very special.

According to a Closer source, Markle put her husband on shopping duty, and he bought all sorts of birthday goodies such as balloons, candy, decorations, and delicious layered birthday cake.
The source revealed that Archie had made a few friends who can celebrate with him as his father's family is in England and will not be joining in the festivities. The source explained:
"Archie has already made a few little friends in Montecito. [Although he can be shy he] gets so excited when he mixes with children his own age."

Despite not having his cousins at the celebration, Prince William and Kate Middleton sent a gift from their children, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis, for their cousin.
Archie will also be getting spoiled by his parents, as the source revealed they bought him all types of gifts for him to enjoy, including jigsaw puzzles, a children-cooking kit, a toy car, and books.
The most recent photo the couple shared of Archie was in March when they shared a photo of a pregnant Markle holding Archie.
His loving parents have organized all kinds of activities for his birthday party, including garden activities and a chocolate fountain. The day will feature spending time at the pool, a BBQ, and playing in their lush and beautiful garden.
For Archie's first birthday, Markle baked him his first birthday cake, which had strawberries and cream. Perhaps she might lend her skills to baking another cake this year or cooking a special birthday meal.
Last year Archie and Markle celebrated his birthday by reading the children's book "Duck! Rabbit!" A video of the mother and son was posted by Save The Children for a campaign they were running called Save With Stories.
The campaign started by Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams, encouraged parents to read with their children or encourage their children to read during the lockdown.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have rarely shared photos of their little one, so the video of Markle and Archie came as a great surprise to royal fans as they were able to see him.
