Meghan McCain Marks Her First Mother's Day with a Photo and Praises Mom Cindy

TV host Meghan McCain's celebration on Mother's Day came with double blessings as she sent a shout out to herself and her mom, Condy McCain.

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain poured out her heartfelt feelings on Instagram, where she dedicated soulful words in honor of her first Mother's Day celebration and to her mom.

In the first post shared, Meghan posted a photo of herself and daughter Liberty Sage from when she newly welcomed the baby girl. The pair were photographed on her hospital bed.

Meghan was wrapped in a fluffy animal print blanket with her baby lying on her chest. The new mom was photographed admiring her child.

The TV personality's emotions were visible in how she warmed up to her new daughter, and this was the same feeling communicated in her pleasing caption. Meghan shared:

"My first Mother's Day. The greatest joy and unfathomable bliss of life is being her mother ~ where Liberty dwells, there's my country…"

Meghan's second post honored Cindy. She posted two throwback photos of the matriarch and her late dad, Senator John McCain. The image presented the duo as a young couple.

The second photo showed the couple warming up to each other, sharing an embrace and similar big smiles. Here, Cindy donned a lavender dress while her late spouse looked handsome in a shirt. Meghan wrote in her caption:

"Happy Mother's Day, @cindymccain - who taught me many many things in this life, but also that hair accessories and a hair bun are always timeless…"

Last September, Meghan, 35, welcomed her first child with her husband, Ben Domenech, and since then, she has been ecstatic about her new status. After returning to work from her three-month maternity leave, the star did not hold back on her joy.

She later shared that she further believed that kids had a right to their own privacy.

Meghan heartily talked about loving every moment of being a mom while adding that giving birth was "hands down" the best thing she had ever done.

Early in 2020, Meghan announced that amid the quarantine, she and her spouse decided to expand their family as she let well-wishers know she was pregnant.

Three months after she welcomed Liberty, the celebrity mom decided to bless her Instagram timeline with the first photos of the baby girl. Before this, Meghan was hesitant to show off her child.

This was so because of the backlash her family received when her politician dad died in 2018. She later shared that she further believed that kids had a right to their own privacy.
