PLEASANT SURPRISE
While the actress had a surprised reaction in her selfie, the caption reassured followers that Hewitt was excited to be a new mom for the third time. Hewitt wrote the following:
"Oh baby! We have another one on the way. So excited to finally share this news with all of you."
Hewitt also incorporated a sponsorship with Clear Blue into her pregnancy announcement and used the post to share about the It Starts With Mom campaign, which aids mothers in the process of entering parenthood.
POSITIVE TEST
Hewitt wasn't expecting a positive pregnancy test when she took it. The "9-1-1" actress took the test to humor her son, who had suggested that she take a test when he saw a Clear Blue advertisement on the television.
Autumn and Atticus had been asking their parents for another sibling to join them, and lo and behold, their request has been granted. Hewitt shared that this pregnancy was not expected but remained a pleasant surprise. She said:
"We had always been open to a third, but definitely didn't think in the crazy year that the entire world was having that it would necessarily be this moment."
HELP IN HOLLYWOOD
Raising children in the spotlight is no easy feat, but Hewitt never let her career stand in her way of being the best mother to her children. The actress revealed that having kids opened her up to a different love she can channel into her work.
Hewitt shared that being a mother allowed her to be emotionally vulnerable in front of the camera on levels that she didn't was possible. Hence motherhood has enriched her acting career.
LOVING HUSBAND
Despite their best efforts to keep the romance out of the spotlight, Hewitt and Hallisay's relationship is known as both stable and long-lasting. The two crossed paths on the set of "Love Bites," and although the show never aired, their relationship did.
The acting couple dated for more than a year before announcing that they were making the trip down the aisle in 2013. Hewitt and Hallisay welcomed their firstborn days after tying the knot.
Hewitt and Hallisay now also have the privilege of working together on set again. The couple has become colleagues on "9-1-1," where Hewitt plays Maddie Buckley, and Hallisay takes on the role of her abusive husband.
Hewitt and Hallisay aren't the only two Hollywood stars who found their love instantaneously. Marron 5's Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo and Idris Elba, and Sabrina Dhowre are also amongst the stars who found love at first sight.
