ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTES
CBS Evening News shared a 30-second video of the pair on a horse carriage after their nuptials riding through the street while greeting the cheering crowd.
“Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are celebrating their third wedding anniversary on Wednesday,” the news channel wrote.
The channel also recalled that the pair have since stepped back from their duties as working senior royals and moved to California.
One person posted a short clip from the wedding day with the song "This Little Light of Mine" playing in the background and wished them a happy anniversary.
SILENT TREATMENT
While many of the couple’s supporters have paid sweet tributes to them, this is the second year official royal accounts have stayed silent on the pair’s special day.
The Duke and Duchess themselves have not spoken on their celebrations, but they will likely celebrate at their mansion in Montecito, California.
The royal couple tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
WILLIAM & KATE
Even though they have not said anything about their milestone, they wished the Cambridges a happy anniversary recently when they celebrated their ten years of marriage.
According to People, Prince Harry and Markle privately congratulated Kate Middleton and Prince William on their wedding anniversary.
ARCHEWELL FOUNDATION
On their anniversary, the Sussexes announced their new Archewell initiative will now assist India, which is currently experiencing a devastating COVID-19 crisis.
The couple released a statement on Wednesday that the foundation is teaming up with World Central Kitchen to build their next Community relief Center in Mumbai, India.
They revealed that the primary purpose of the centers is to provide relief and resilience for the communities in which they are based. In the future, they will serve as emergency response kitchens or vaccination sites.
