Irina Shayk's Dating History — From Cristiano Ronaldo to Her Rumored Romance with Kanye West

Russian model and actress Irina Shayk has been romantically involved with some of the world's most influential and talented men. Now, she might be dating Kanye West.

While Irina Shayk has been a household name in the modeling industry since the early 2010s, especially after her Sports Illustrated cover, her road to greatness was not a walk in the park.

She was born in the rural village of Yemanzhelinsk in Russia to a blue-collar family. Her dad, a miner, passed away when she was 14. Food was already scarce with him alive, so Shayk’s mother had to take a second job.

Eventually, Shayk moved to a bigger city with her sister and began studying marketing at college. Once there, a scout at a beauty and modeling school discovered her and asked if she wanted to go to Paris and be a model.

She spent some time in Paris, but it wasn’t until 2007 that she earned big money working as a model. Shayk booked a catalog for Lacoste in Spain, shot it in the Caribbean, and got paid about $4,800. “My mom cried for days,” she revealed.

Now, Irina Shayk is one of the most famous models in the world and has dated incredibly talented and wealthy people. In 2007, she and Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon began their relationship.

Although the former couple dated for about two years, they kept the details of their time together away from the spotlight. In 2009, they quietly parted ways.

In 2010, after allegedly dating former FIFA president Sepp Blatter (their relationship was never confirmed), Irina Shayk became Juventus FC superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend.

The former couple apparently met through their modeling campaigns for Armani Exchange. Unfortunately, they parted ways over the Christmas season in 2014, and she reportedly ended their romance.

Initial reports claimed that they broke up because she refused to attend a surprise birthday party for Ronaldo’s mother, but Shayk eventually said that was not the reason.

It is important to point out that neither Shayk nor Ronaldo has revealed what led to the demise of their relationship. Shortly after their split, the model said she looked for honesty and loyalty in a relationship, possibly hinting at lousy behavior by Ronaldo.

BRADLEY COOPER AND IRINA SHAYK

In 2015, after being with one of the most successful soccer players in history, Shayk began dating Bradley Cooper, one of the most talented actors in Hollywood in recent times.

Sources claim that Kanye West and Irina Shayk are reportedly dating.

The timing was perfect as Cooper had just ended his relationship with Suki Waterhouse. The pair was spotted at a Broadway production in April 2015 and made their red-carpet debut in March 2016.

As expected, the details of their relationship were kept under wraps. In late 2016, her pregnancy made headlines. Irina Shayk’s daughter, Lea de Seine, was born in March 2017.

Sadly, the former couple parted ways in June 2019. That was a tough year for their relationship, especially because rumors about a possible love triangle involving Cooper’s “A Star Is Born” co-star Lady Gaga were all over the Internet.

Sources reported that Gaga had nothing to do with their separation, though. Shayk also admitted she and Cooper were lucky to experience their relationship but have no reconciliation plans.

LIFE AFTER COOPER

In March 2020, Irina Shayk’s dating life made headlines again after being spotted in New York City with art dealer Vito Schnabel, Heidi Klum’s ex-boyfriend.

Later that August, Shayk took her daughter to a park in New York City. Minutes later, Schnabel arrived after apparently jogging. They never confirmed their relationship, though.

Now, sources claim that Kanye West and Irina Shayk are reportedly dating. They worked together in his “Power” music video in 2010, and she also walked for his 2012 Fall/Winter fashion collection at Paris Fashion Week.

It is still too soon to tell if they are really an item. As Metro reported, it might be a way to divert some attention from West and Kim Kardashian’s seventh wedding anniversary.
