LL Cool J's wife, Simone Smith, looked gorgeous in her new media update as she let fans in on her lovely afternoon outing.

LL Cool J's long-time wife, Simone Smith, looked dazzling in new pictures as she joined some of her pals in a cool summer outing. Her spouse was also present at the occasion.

Simone dressed up, channeling a trendy look in a bright yellow blouse with short bell sleeves. The star rocked form-fitting ripped jeans and cream-colored clogs.

Simone covered her waist-length blonde braids in a colorful bucket hat while she sported a gold wristwatch and some knuckle rings. She soaked up some summer goodness with her face raised towards the sky.

One of her pals, Nina Cooper, further showed off the summer outing with the celebrity jeweler and some friends. They all filed to a riverside and posed for the camera.

The next slide showed LL Cool J had attended the gathering with the love of his life. He posed for the camera sitting next to her as they joined other celebrities like Rev Run around a table.

The mom-of-four also diverted some of the profit from her crystal lollipops into providing funds for the American Cancer Society for research.

The famous designer and LL Cool J met as teenage sweethearts. The rapper-turned-actor once recalled on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" how he met the love of his life. He explained that he was 19 years old at the time.

LL Cool J was a young adult driving his mom's car through the neighborhood when he stopped to greet a friend. He relayed that his friend tried introducing him to his cousin, and although LL Cool J was reluctant at first, he changed his mind after seeing Simone.

The pair faced some rocky times together, but their love for each other stood the test of time. When Simone suffered from a rare form of bone cancer, underwent a 15-hour surgery, and had to learn to walk again, LL Cool J stood by her side.

Together, they were able to "beat cancer like a boss," and for over 15 years now, Simone has been cancer-free. She and her husband are also parents to four grown-ups, Nina, Italia, Najee, and Samaria.

Simone has been beside her spouse for decades showing him unwavering support in his thriving entertainment career. In 2011, LL Cool J reciprocated, showing her support when she launched her jewelry line.

The 52-year-old channeled her love for jewelry into creating different designs like her Swarovski Crystal lollipop necklaces. The star mom also diverted some of the profit from her crystal lollipops into providing funds for the American Cancer Society for research.
