Twitter Users Have Mixed Reactions to Mama June Reuniting with All 4 Daughters for the First Time in 6 Years

June "Mama June" Shannon has finally reunited and brokered peace between her and her daughters after being separated for six years. The reunion has been met with mixed reactions.

Over the weekend, reality star June "Mama June" Shannon reunited with all four of her daughters after being away from them for six years. E! News was able to get a photo of the happy family together again.

In the image, June was smiling as she posed alongside her daughters while attending Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efrid’s Gordon, Georgia Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower. Lauryn, 21, is expecting a baby boy.

Her child’s due date is this summer, and she’ll be sharing him with her husband, Joshua Efrid. June’s other children are Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, 26; Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon, 24; and Alana Thompson, 15.

Besides the reunion between the WEtv reality star, fans were surprised to see Anna in attendance. She’s avoided appearing on any of the family’s reality shows since the beginning.

The last time the whole family was seen together was six years ago. June has continued working on repairing her relationships with her children after struggling with addiction.

In March 2021, 41-year-old June confessed that she was constantly working on making amends with her children. She’s hoping they’ll give her a second chance because the reality star knows she isn’t perfect.

At the time, the star said she hoped she and her family would be back together by the end of the season. Fans have since taken to Twitter to share their reactions to the family’s reunion, with one person asking:

“Where she go… ??? To jail?”

Someone else responded to the first person speculating that June might’ve been addicted to drugs when she was absent for her children’s lives. A third person noted how the reunion happened in June.

It seemed like fate that the reality star would repair her family’s relationship in the month she’s named after. Responding to “The US Sun’s” post of the reunion, someone else wrote:

“Awww…. I Love this Picture of you all together!!!! #and that’s what family is all about!!!!!”

Another social media user commented below the same post and shared their love for the image. On June 5, 2021, June noted how Lauryn was having a baby boy and that the family only has three sons.

She joked on Twitter that she wouldn’t know how to start raising a boy. A fan berated her for having done a bad job raising her girls because of molestation rumors and one of them becoming a breadwinner as a toddler.

In a clip of “Mama June: Road to Redemption,” Lauryn shared the sex of her baby with her mother using a homemade cake. When the matriarch cut the cake, she realized it was blue and was informed why.

Both June and Lauryn confirmed that Alana "Honey Boo Boo" had a boyfriend whom they approved of.

In a June 7, 2021, video that the reality star shared of Lauryn talking with her daughter Ella Grace, June noted that the little girl would be a big sister. A fan criticized how the family spoke to the child.

The Twitter user felt Ella, 3, would be teased at school because of it. Someone else agreed with the observation and also seemed to speculate that June should go to prison.

The reality star attended the baby shower after being accompanied by her boyfriend, Geno Doak, 45, out of the LAX airport. She blamed the bad relationship she had with Anna on her own mother.

However, she confessed that seeing her oldest daughter and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn, “was great.” Another positive thing that has happened in June’s family is that her youngest has found a boyfriend!

Both June and Lauryn confirmed that Alana "Honey Boo Boo" had a boyfriend whom they approved of. They described him as respectful to them and the teenager and treated Alana right.
