At Least 8 People Injured After a Vehicle Plowed into a Crowd at a Mud Racing Event in Texas
The authorities in Texas have recorded news on casualties after a race truck lost its bearing during a game and crashed into some spectators. Eight people were injured.
The El Paso County Sheriff's office received a distress call on Sunday night after a Texas racing truck plunged into the spectator line, crashing down on the people watching the game.
During the game, the truck was said to have started on the course but soon veered off the mud track and plunged into the guardrail, as well as the spectators.

Scott Smith, the owner of Rock Solid Protection, a security company in El-Paso, said that the Sunday night accident was something they all hoped would not happen.
During the crash, eight people were injured, of which three were transported to the hospital and are in critical condition. The other five people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also transported to the local hospital.

Karla Huerta, a spectator, described the incident as something that started well and turned "pretty ugly." She noted that there were many ambulances at the scene to get people to safety.
Last March, a car owner, Craig Voss, was charged with three counts of vehicular manslaughter and five counts of causing great bodily harm. This happened in San Diego after Voss climbed onto a sidewalk.

The accident caused the death of three people while leaving six other people injured. The San Diego authorities arrested Voss because he was suspected of driving while impaired.
A number of New York protesters were injured last December after a car drove through the gathered crowd and injured several people. The police detained the woman behind the wheels of the Sedan BMW.

Officer also noted that none of the injured protesters sustained severe injuries. There were several accounts of how the incident happened, with many relaying that the crowd gathered around the vehicle before it lurched through.
