Prince William Turns 39 – See Greetings from the Royal Family and Fans
The British royal family is celebrating Prince William's 39th birthday! They posted a special tribute on their Twitter page and celebrated the second in line to the throne in style.
The Duke of Cambridge has successfully completed his 39th trip around the sun, and the royal family isn't letting the special occasion go by uncelebrated.
The Windsors took to social media to share a few snaps with a special message for Prince William on his big day. They chose four photos showcasing the royal in different aspects of his royal life.

THE BIG 39
This is Prince William's last birthday before he hits 40, and his family ensured that he felt loved for his last celebration as a man in his thirties. They wrote on Twitter:
"Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very Happy Birthday today! #HappyBirthdayHRH"
The family paired this birthday message with four throwback snaps showing Prince William joyfully laughing next to Kate Middleton, and another of them having a special moment on the balcony of the palace with their three children.
MESSAGE FROM DAD
Prince Charles also joined in on the birthday action for his firstborn by posting a black and white throwback picture of him holding Prince William as a baby and another snap from the 2014 Invictus Games.
A few weeks ago, it was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who were receiving the congratulatory messages.
The black and white picture showed the doting father looking down at six-month-old Prince William balancing on his knee. It was taken in December 1982.
DOTING FANS
While the influx of tweets sending happy birthday messages to the Duke of Cambridge showcases his popularity among the younger generation, the second-in-line to the throne also makes time for his older fans.
Prince William recently visited 96-year-old Betty Mage who has always admired him. The royal sat down with Mage and her granddaughter while visiting Queen’s Bay Lodge residential care home. After the visit, Mage noted:
“He’s a bit of alright. I liked him...He can be my king any day.”

Prince William may have been the center of attention with his birthday and Father's Day following one another, but a few weeks ago, it was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who were receiving the congratulatory messages.
The arrival of the Duke and Duchesses of Sussexes' second child, Lilibet Diana, sparked an overwhelming amount of messages and posts on social media. Prince William and Duchess Kate were sure to send their love along with everyone else.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to Instagram to share a black and white snap of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan holding Archie paired with a sweet message to wish them well after the birth of Lilibet.
The post reeled in more than 10,000 comments, with fans noting how kind and sincere the couple was in congratulating the new parents despite the conflict that still looms between them.
