Kelly Ripa, 50, Looks like Her Kids’ Sibling While Celebrating Son’s Graduation with Entire Family in Italy
It should've been a graduation party for son Michael, but with the pandemic hitting worldwide since May of last year, the celebration was postponed, but it bore an even bigger celebration.
Kelly Ripa, 50, and her husband Mark Consuelos were set to celebrate their first son's graduation from New York University, but then the COVID 19 menace hit, and all plans were halted.
The couple, however, is recovering the lost celebration times by taking a vacation to Italy, bringing along with them their three kids, Joaquin, 18, Lola, 20, and Michael, 24. Also present was Consuelos' sister Adriana with her daughters.

Photos from the vacation showed the extended family in all-white outfits basking in the Italian sun. In another photo, they were posing on a rocky beach soaking up the beautiful views of the historic street.
Another photo posted on Adriana's page features cousins Gabi Corder, Isabella, and Luci in an Italian village looking cute in sun-dresses. The photos were taken during a boating trip. Ripa captioned the beautiful photo of the family, saying:
"Last year’s graduation trip for our oldest son and niece was delayed long enough to become a graduation trip for the family newborns as well!"
The family had planned to take the Mediterranean trip in 2020 after their eldest son graduated from New York University, but they postponed the trip with the onset of the pandemic.
Things seem to have fallen in place as they get to celebrate Michael's graduation as well as Joaquin's. The proud parents took numerous photos of their son Joaquin and wrote beautiful captions on his big day.
She says before talking about any of her children on TV, she has to get their permission first.
Ripa, who cohosts on the "Live with Kelly and Ryan," was in teal and pink necklaces, a printed skirt, and a pink blouse. Her husband donned a blue suit, and the graduate was in a graduation gown that featured yellow tussles.
The proud family documented the event from Joaquin getting ready to when he walked across the stage to receive his Diploma. He studied at the Churchill School and Center. One of the fans on Ripa's page went to the comment section to congratulate Joaquin, saying:
"Congratulations Joaquin! You’ve come a long way since Perchek in ‘Fiddler On The Roof!’ Well done! Let’s go!"
Ripa and Consuelos also recently celebrated their daughter Lola's 20th birthday in numerous Instagram photos posted on Ripa's account. One is a black and white photo of Lola with her knees up to her chest.
She captioned the photo, making fun of Lola's big feet, which in the real sense looked that way due to the angle of the shot. She also teased her only daughter, saying that she was their favorite daughter, no doubt.
Ripa and Consuelos share a tight bond with their kids, and even though the Hollywood love birds admit to not having a favorite child, Ripa says her youngest is much easier to handle as the two older ones love getting on her nerves.
Ripa reminisces on the bitter-sweet moment when her daughter left home to join university, saying that there weren't many tears, but they sure knew they would miss her. She also jokes that her daughter kept insisting that she would not be home before thanksgiving.
Ripa also revealed that her first-born son Michael asked her not to ever talk about him on television. She says she tries to honor the promise even though she might have shown his prom photo on TV. She says before talking about any of her children on TV, she has to get their permission first.
She also admits that her family has been approached many times to do reality shows, but they have always declined, saying they really have nothing interesting to show.
