Magic Johnson, 61, is a famous basketball icon who more than anything loves his family. His recent Instagram post confirmed it after he seemed to be enjoying an amazing time with his family. Find out more!
American professional basketball player Magic Johnson is a loving husband to his wife, Cookie Johnson, and a doting father to three children— Andre Johnson, EJ Johnson, and Elisa Johnson.
However, Magic's genes appear to be stronger than usual, as his facial features have been passed down to his grandchildren— Gigi and Avery. Recently, the legend took his family on vacation and shared snaps that captured some of their moments.
FAMILY OVER EVERYTHING
Taking to Instagram, Magic shared a lovely family photo that featured only members of the Johnson family. In the photo, Magic stood tall in a lemon T-shirt behind his adorable grandson, Avery. The kid wore a gray shirt with a black bow-tie design and green shorts.
In 2019, the star rented the superyacht for his annual trip around the Mediterranean waters.
He looked cute as his legs were tucked in a pair of white sneakers and gave out a huge smile for the camera, revealing the striking resemblance he shared with his granddad. On Avery's right, Gigi stood elegantly in a white tank top over denim pants and blue sandals.
Other family members brought their A-game as they stunned in their respective outfits, grinning from ear to ear. In the caption that accompanied the post, Magic wrote:
"Having a good time with the family shopping in the middle of St. Tropez❤."
While some fans and followers were intrigued by the family's bond, others could not get over the uncanny resemblance between Magic and his grandson. A stunned user said: "Your youngest grandson has a remarkable resemblance to you, Magic! Beautiful family 🖤."
Another delighted follower wrote, "Enjoy Johnsons! Wow, Magic's beautiful grandkids look just like him! 😌." A respondent also mentioned that Gigi stole Andre's entire face.
THE LIFE OF ANDRE JOHNSON
Magic's grandchildren are products of his son, Andre's marriage to Lisa. Even though Andre has managed to live his life away from the spotlight, a few intriguing details are known about his life.
In 1999, Andre began working in A&R at Elektra Entertainment and graduated with an associate degree in Business Management from Santa Monica College three years later.
Some years later, Andre got the role of the Vice president of Business Development in his father's company, "Magic Johnson Enterprise," where he continued to serve for a while.
While at his father's company, the father of two built new initiatives, enhanced existing partnerships, and managed daily operations in the Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund.
In 2018, Andre took further steps and became Vice president of Business Development at a game technology studio called "Mythical Games."
Other than that, Andre is a strong entrepreneur and "Chief Inspiration Officer'', who enjoys going on luxury vacations with his father-in-law and family. Time and again, Andre has been subjected to Magic's love for luxury.

A WORLD-CLASS VACATION
Recently, Magic chartered a $1.2million, 281-foot superyacht known as the Aquila for a summer vacation with his family and friends. According to the boat's Burgess charter listings, it is the largest boat to be built in the US since the 1930s.
The vacation was star-studded as the NBA legend invited his celebrity friends, including LL Cool J and Samuel L Jackson. According to information, Magic cruised around the Mediterranean, visiting places like Greece and Italy.
They also touched down on locations like Capri, Sorrento, and Sardinia, amongst others. Other celebrities who enjoyed the world-class experience were Vanessa Bell Calloway, Tony Calloway, Holly Robinson Peete, and Rodney Peete.
This would not be the first time Magic is renting the Aquila. In 2019, the star rented the superyacht for his annual trip around the Mediterranean waters. Hopefully, fans get to see where he will visit next year.
