DETECTIVE LOSES POLICE LICENSE
Police officers have been making headlines frequently in recent times. A former York County detective lost his police license for various instances of misconduct. One of his transgressions was the illegal arrest of a business owner back in 2011.
When Wilfred ‘Bill’ Vachon threatened to arrest a man for purportedly robbing a retired Portland police officer's daughter, he was found guilty of using his power to commit a crime and was brought to book in July of this year.
