Video of 1-Year-Old Boy Picking up a 15-LB Ball Goes Viral
While some grown men and women can barely breathe after running around the block, a baby blew everyone's minds. He achieved what many thought to be impossible, until now!
TrueRebel88 or @truerebel88 on TikTok shared a clip of his 1-year-old performing a feat that shocked the online world. The little boy managed to lift a 15-lb ball.
In the video, the baby walked up to the ball in what looks like a playpen, determined to pick it up. He bent down, grabbed the ball, and began pulling up while making noises akin to what individuals sound like when working out.
Eventually, appearing to muster all the strength he had, the 1-year-old managed to lift the ball not once but twice. The description read:
"My one year old was determined to pick up this 15 pound medicine ball and succeeded!"
Adults can be heard laughing and muttering in awe in the background. They are not the only ones who were taken aback, as the now-viral post has accumulated just over 6 million likes.
Individuals in the comment section were not in shock but found the clip funny. A common joke was that the little boy had better form or posture than many grown-ups when exercising.
Keys was so impressed that she gave the little girl a shoutout via an Instagram story.
Others were less amused, claiming that it was dangerous for the 1-year-old to pick up such a heavy object. The remarks kept piling up as the post has accumulated around 80,000 so far.
While this little boy managed to capture the whole internet's attention, another child took it to another level. 9-year-old Megan Rakesh gained recognition from none other than the legendary songstress Alicia Keys.
The little girl from Bengaluru in India did so via the amazing strength of her vocal cords. A TikTok video of her singing Keys' well-known song "Fallin" found its way to the soul singer's corner of the internet.
Keys was so impressed that she gave the little girl a shoutout via an Instagram story. The "If I Ain't Got You" songbird included the original TikTok clip in her story, which was re-shared on an Instagram account the 9-year-old's parents had made for her.
In the description, they wrote that their daughter's dream had now come to life. With the advent of such physical and vocal strength growing among young children, it appears that there is a generation of prodigies waiting in the wings.
