Karen Breitbart from Florida has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and recently had to be taken to the emergency room due to a strong reaction she had to her chemotherapy.

She and her husband Gregg Breitbart faced a nightmare due to a lack of available hospital beds in emergency rooms. They discovered that nearby facilities were so crowded that they would likely have to wait for an average of 12 hours.

Gregg brought Karen to the Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where she waited in the hallway for hours. This mother and wife was eventually given a gurney.

Karen then had to wait for hours once again until the medical professionals could find her a bed in the emergency room section of the hospital. Gregg has shared his story and experience on the matter.

The husband revealed that 70 other patients were waiting in the emergency room. Karen's spouse targeted the unvaccinated, expressing how their choices have deeply affected him, his wife, and other people unable to access beds.

Florida has been treating extremely high numbers of COVID-19 patients where the broad majority of them have not received the vaccination for the virus. Gregg expressed:

"This is where your 'personal freedom' to remain unvaccinated is now causing severe, negative impacts for the rest of us."

The spouse emphasized that people should stop waiting around, take the initiative, and get vaccinated as soon as possible. Despite Gregg's fears and the hospital being overburdened, Karen was eventually released in a stable condition.

Gregg is not the only man who is concerned and passionate about his loved ones and the resistance to vaccines and other COVID-19 guidelines. This zeal was also reflected in a kindergartner's dad Justin Kanew.

Recently, he became famous after his speech on the importance of wearing masks. This dad to a 5-year-old daughter spoke to the Tennessee-based Williamson County Board of Education.

Kanew pointed his enthralling argument at parents who opposed the idea of their children wearing masks at school. The 5-year-old's father struck a chord when he referred to how childish he finds it that grown adults refuse to wear masks.

He expressed that even his toddler could understand why it is the right thing to do. Kanew spoke about the Governor of Tennessee Bill Lee's decision to allow individuals to choose not to wear masks if they did not want to.

The dad defined this as undemocratic and an overreach of government power. As the debates between these factions continue, one can only hope that this period in history will pass sooner rather than later.
