KIDADA JONES

Tupac extended his flirtatious skills to models, musicians, and movie stars in his short but illustrious life. Still, one of his special relationships was his romance with Kidada Jones, who became his fiancée before his death.

Jones was among the last to speak with the injured rapper before he slipped into a coma he never awoke. Kidada, the daughter of music exec, Quincy Jones, assured the rapper of being loved a few moments before he convulsed and slipped into eternity.

Their relationship has often been overlooked, but it was a part of Tupac’s final days. The romance remains one of the most cherished memories of Kidada’s, and in an autobiography, she noted that the late icon was the love of her life.

She admitted that they lived together for four months and described his death as the most horrible thing that ever happened to her. Although things did not start well between them, they went on to forge a memorable experience.

Initially, Tupac had blasted Kidada’s father for his relationships with white women, and his comments angered the Jones family. It was not until Tupac and Kidada met in a club that both families gave peace a chance.

The family forged a good friendship with the rapper, and Kidada was in their hotel room in Las Vegas when he was shot. She would go on to lament over not bidding a proper farewell to the rapper.

MADONNA

Madonna was one of Tupac’s most controversial relationships. The pop queen has been linked to a series of singers, but her relationship with the late rapper left her heartbroken.

The duo reportedly dated for about a year in 1993 after they were set up by her pal Rosie Perez at the Soul Train Music Awards. Still, Madonna did not confirm their relationship until almost two decades after the rapper’s death. The relationship ended while Tupac was serving time in jail.

He sent a heartbreaking letter to the singer where he revealed that he was breaking up with her because of her race. Tupac explained that he never meant to hurt her, but their relationship would disappoint the many black people who looked up to him.

Tupac contacted the former adult film actress to shoot the music video for “How Do U Want It?” She went to say that they shared a “spiritual relationship,” and the rapper remains dear to her.

KEISHA MORRIS

Tupac and Keisha Morris met in the summer of 1994 at Capitol nightclub in NYC, and after dating for a few months, the duo tied the knot. They remained married while the rapper was in jail for a sexual abuse case, but their marriage was annulled shortly after he got out.

JARA EVERETT

Tupac and Jara Everett hooked up in the mid-nineties, but details of their relationship are sketchy. In her autobiography, " JumpOff: The Real Truth," Everett confirmed that Tupac was her favorite out of the men she had had in her life.

JADA PINKETT-SMITH

Pinkett-Smith, Will Smith's wife, was the biggest of Tupac's female friends. Although she and the late rapper never dated, the actress was a big part of his life, and the rapper, in return, held her in high regard.

On what would have been his 50th birthday, Pinkett-Smith released a never-before-seen handwritten poem the rapper wrote which talked about death.

The duo met in high school, but Pinkett-Smith walked away from their friendship when Tupac’s life became more complicated and violent. At the time of his death, they were estranged.

WHO WAS TUPAC?

Tupac was the central figure of the feud between the East Coast rappers and West Coast rappers in the 90s. He was an actor and rapper who embodied the gangster-based team of 90s rap music.

He started his musical career to speak against the perceived injustice suffered by blacks. He soon became a black spokesperson, but his association with gangster rap would quickly prove to be his downfall.

His death would come as his rivalry with rapper Biggie Smalls intensified. Tupac accused Biggie of sabotaging and plotting to kill him, and both rappers would diss each other in their songs until their deaths became the price for peace.
