In 2013, the mother of four filed for emergency custody of her sons after Naviyd was involved in a near-death swimming pool incident.
Naviyd was rushed to the ICU after being trapped in a drain at the swimming pool in his father's house. Foster alleged that there was no supervision of the young boys while they were swimming.
However, her claims fell on deaf ears, and soon after, the case was dismissed, with Usher Sr. retaining custody of the children.
Usher Sr. tagged his marriage at 28 to Foster as the best mistake he had ever made, and since the unfortunate experience, he has kept his life and kids away from the public eye.
