In his lifetime, Brown has fathered seven children. Besides his three kids with Etheredge, he has four other kids from different relationships and his first marriage.

Brown's older child is Landon, who he shares with Melika Williams. Landon was born in 1986. Brown also had a prolonged on-and-off relationship with Kim Ward, who he met in 1980.

He and Ward welcomed their daughter La'Princia in 1981 and their son Bobby Brown Jr. in 1991. It was in the year of Bobby Jr.'s birth that Brown and Ward ended their 11-year relationship.

The reason for their split was that Ward found out Brown was engaged to famed singer Whitney Houston while she was two months pregnant with Bobby Jr.

Two years after that episode, Brown and Houston appeared in the reality show "Being Bobby Brown." However, their personal lives were scrutinized even further. In September 2006, Houston filed for divorce and it was finalized in April 2007.

During Houston and Brown's marriage, they welcomed a daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in 1993. After finalizing their divorce, Houston revealed she began using drugs with Brown and that he was abusive towards her.

Brown's marriage to Etheredge has been devoid of complications.

Houston died on February 11, 2012. Brown could not perform after finding out about her death and excused himself from the stage during a New Edition show.

In his first interview after her death, he told "Today's" Matt Lauer that he still misses her fiercely and that he had 14 beautiful years with her. He also said:

Brown also said he never used drugs before meeting Houston, but after trying it for the first time, he became addicted. He expressed his regrets and wished he had done something different to ensure Houston had a longer life.

Etheredge usually shares pictures of her and her husband's getaways on social media. On April 19, she posted photos showing them relaxing at the beach during a trip to Belize.

One snapshot showed the sweet couple cuddling as they posed. Etheredge wore a red swimsuit and rocked curly hair and dark shades. Meanwhile, Brown wore a white T-shirt paired with a matching "Red Table Talk" face cap.

Some of the photos in the post also showed their three children, Cassius, Bodhi, and Hendrix, having fun during the vacation.

On June 12, Brown and Etheredge's son, Cassius, graduated from sixth grade and the proud parents were there to make the day extra special for him. Etheredge shared pictures from the graduations and paid tribute to her son in the post's caption by writing:

Etheredge also shares a close bond with Brown's other children and showed this when she celebrated La'Princia's wedding. She posted pictures from the nuptials and congratulated La'Princia, who she calls her bonus daughter.
