Kirsten Dunst Reveals She Will Support Her Children If They Decide to Follow in Her Footsteps
Kirsten Dunst discussed her children while at the premiere of her newest movie, "The Power Of The Dog." She stars in the film with her husband, Jesse Plemons.
"Spider-Man" actress Kirsten Dunst opened up about supporting whatever career path her two children may follow to People while attending the New York Film Festival premiere of "The Power Of The Dog."
Dunst is a proud mother to her two young sons, Ennis, three years old, and James, four months old, who she shares with her fiance of three years and "Other People" actor, Jesse Plemons. The pair got engaged in 2017.

Her latest project is a family affair as she stars in the movie alongside her husband. The couple play married couple Rose and George, who George's brother, Phil Burbank, torments.
With Plemons by Dunst's side during filming, it is no surprise that their children became the hot topic during an interview with People Magazine at the premiere. Dunst shared that she will always support her children:
"Listen, if they want to be actors, I'll support my children whatever they want to do."

Their children are not the only things the couple has shared, as they are used to sharing the spotlight too. The pair first met on set for the series "Fargo" in 2015 and started dating a year and a half later.
Dunst touched on the development of her and Plemons's relationship while at the premiere for their newest movie. She revealed that they had started as friends and creative partners first.

Furthermore, Dunst thought that their initial friendship and working relationship was the start of them becoming a couple. She elaborated and said, "we want to do this over the course [of] our careers."
"The Power Of The Dog" will be an added credit to their work together as a couple. Fans will have to wait until November 17 to see the film in theaters and December 1 to catch it on Netflix.
Dunst and Plemons star alongside Benecuit Cumberbatch, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Thomasin McKenzie, Keith Carradine, Frances Conroy, Genevieve Lemon, Adam Beach, and Peter Carroll.
Dunst addressed the Oscar buzz for her role in the Jane Campion film during Variety's podcast, "Award Circut Podcast." She remarked that if she won an Oscar for the film, it could not come at a better time.
The proud mother explained that with two children and her long career in the industry, it would be the perfect time to win such a prestigious award. The actress has worked in the industry for 25 years.
Besides getting the award to acknowledge her brilliant acting skills, Dunst added that it would mean a lot to her family and added that it would be fun to celebrate the achievement with her friends and family.
