Fans Slam Dwyane Wade’s Transgender Daughter Zaya for Dressing like a Woman: ‘The End Is Near'
Recently, there was a stir-up of mixed reactions after Dwyane Wade posted photos of his transgender daughter, Zaya. Several users were unhappy with the post and slammed the former NBA star and his daughter.
Former professional Basketball Player Dwyane Wade is recognized for his amazing skills during his time with the Miami Heat. Yet his love for his beautiful wife and children has left many talking over and over again.
He is currently married to American Actress Gabrielle Union, and the pair are doting parents to one daughter, Kaavia James.

In addition to Kaavia, Dwyane also fathers three other children: Zaya Wade, Zaire Wade, and Xavier Wade. For months, Zaya has made the headlines as she came out as transgender.
While her family understands Zaya's choices and is supportive, some netizens appear to have difficulty accepting her decision. Consequently, the youngster has been subject to tons of backlash online.
DWYANE FLAUNTS HIS LOVELY DAUGHTER
Yesterday, Dwyane took to his Instagram to share pictures of Zaya, and Instagram users had a lot to say. The 14-year-old was dressed in a yellow crop top with a brown jacket and matching pants in the snapshots.
Zaya paired her outfit with multi-colored sneakers and an orange bag. She rocked a low haircut which was curly and dyed dark brown. Dwyane's daughter also accentuated her good looks with light makeup.
WHAT DID NETIZENS HAVE TO SAY?
Zaya's appearance did not sit right with many people, and shortly after Dwyane shared the post, they trooped to the comments section to make their thoughts known. One user wrote, "I don't approve this message!!! 🤦🏾♂."
A second respondent wrote, "Is this the future we are doomed," and another follower made it known that the end was near, adding that being transgender will never be a norm.

A fourth fan wrote, "bro why you doing this to your kids. This is so sad," and a fifth also commented, writing, "The future where men dress up like woman 🤦🏾♂what is this world coming to."
An unhappy user described Zaya as a lost soul, noting that the picture was disgusting. Another disappointed fan made it known that there would be no future if all the Black men kept trying to become women.
One netizen said it was sad seeing a father raise his son to become a woman. In addition, the fan revealed that women have to go through a lot, and no man would ever understand, adding that the world was in confusion.

ZAYA IS BOLD AND PROUD
Fans' criticisms appear to have nothing on the LGBTQ+ activist, as she has not held back in making her voice known since she came out as transgender. Zaya has always been bold and sure about who she wants to be from her childhood days.
Last year, Dwyane sat down with Robin Roberts on "Good Morning America" to discuss his daughter's sexuality. The former NBA star revealed that Zaya knew she was transgender when she was three years old.

Dwyane said his daughter had always been the family's leader when educating them on the transgender community. According to the star, Zaya sat her family members down and told them about her identity.
The father of four said it was a process to sit down with the young activist and find out who she was. Overall, Dwyane said he loved Zaya and the fact that she did not have to hide her decision.

A CELEBRITY RAPPER ADVISES DWYANE
Dwyane is proud of his daughter and has supported her decision, which has subjected him to many criticisms from social media users, including fellow celebrities.
Last February, Boosie Badazz shared his thoughts on the former NBA star's decision to support Zaya. In an Instagram post, Badazz said Dwyane was taking the situation too far.

According to the rapper, at age 12, most children had no idea about what they wanted. Furthermore, he advised Dwyane not to allow Zaya to go for a full transition surgery.
Despite making a video and airing his thoughts, the rapper's appeal and advice appear to have fallen on deaf ears, as Dwyane showed no interest.

ZAYA'S THOUGHTS ON COMING OUT
While Dwyane tries to win fans over with his unwavering love and support for his daughter, Union is also doing her bit to spread love and enlighten the public on accepting their children's choices.
In a tweet shared on Union's Twitter page last year, the "L.A's Finest" actress shared her thoughts on Zaya's decision. She wrote:
"Meet Zaya. She's compassionate, loving, whip smart, and we are so proud of her. It's OK to listen to, love & respect your children exactly as they are. Love and light good people."
Union shared the written information alongside a video of Zaya and her dad talking about being transgender. The teenager could be heard saying that people who were scared of coming out were scared of being judged.
Her advice to such people was for them to be true to themselves. According to her, there was no point in being on earth if they would pretend to be someone they were not.
In the video, the icon asked his daughter if it was worth it to be oneself, even though people would be mean and try to cause harm. In her response, Zaya gave a positive answer.
She advised people who were facing criticism and resentment to push through, despite the hard times. Zaya's activism for the LGBTQ+ community has earned her several recognitions.
In 2020, she was selected as one of The Root's Young Futurists and one of The Advocate's Women Of The Year. She has also met and interviewed world figures like the former first lady, Michelle Obama.
