Aaron Carter Split from Fiancée Who Recently Gave Birth to Their Child Following Miscarriage Last Year

Aaron Carter and his fiancée, Melanie Martin, have had an off-and-on relationship over the last two years. However, Carter shared they have broken up after welcoming their son a week ago.

"I Want Candy" singer, Aaron Carter, and his model fiancée, Melanie Martin, have split up after welcoming their son, Prince Lyric, a week ago on November 22, 2021, via an emergency C-section.

On Twitter on November 30, Carter revealed he and Martin decided to go their separate ways. He alluded that there had been "a very big lie" between him and Martin, which involved Martin communicating with his twin sister, Angel.

The singer sarcastically thanked his estranged sister for ruining his family and seemed to have felt betrayed by Martin for talking to his sister as she knew "what Angel tried to do to [him] in court."

The "House of Carters" alum stated that Martin told him she would be moving to Las Vegas with Prince and a friend. He added that their son did not deserve the situation, and he would do his job as a single father.

Later, the heartbroken father wrote that he and Martin appreciated the support they received from fans. He added that they would prioritize their young son during the challenging time.

The couple first went public with their relationship in January 2020. The couple's romance seemed to be going strong three months in as Carter got Martin's name tattooed on his face.

However, during the same month that Carter debuted his face tattoo, Martin was arrested and booked for domestic violence, after which Carter revealed he was single on Instagram.

Two months later, in April, the couple were back on. They also revealed they were expecting their first child. However, Martin suffered a miscarriage. Carter shared in a YouTube video that the miscarriage was due to stress and that once she had healed, they would try for another baby.

Shortly after the pair announced the heartbreaking news of their miscarriage, they shared more happy news — Carter and Martin were engaged. Carter shared the exciting news on Instagram in June 2020.

Finally, in March 2021, the couple shared they were expecting another baby. Carter shared a video of two positive pregnancy tests on his Instagram and stated Martin was pregnant.

Then in November, Carter shared that after 13 hours of labor, their son was born via an emergency C-section. He wrote that Martin was in good health while he thanked the hospital staff.
