Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole previously broke up, and from what was initially reported, the NFL star had supposedly cheated on his partner, which he later denied. Nevertheless, Nicole once hinted that she was ready to be his wife.

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Kayla Nicole met on Instagram. Nicole is a reporter with a degree in journalism from Pepperdine University and lists her profession as an on-camera host and a model.

She previously worked as a reporter for the NBA and BET and competed in beauty pageants. Nicole also has a fitness brand called Strong Is Sexy and posts workout videos on her YouTube channel.

When asked by followers in an Instagram Q&A on how she met the six-time Pro Bowler, she replied by providing a brief explanation saying:

“He Insta stalked me. I DM’d him. The end.”

She and Kelce made their relationship public while at a friend's wedding in May 2017. Kelce's then-teammate, NFL wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, and Adia Kuzma were the ones tying the knot at the time.

Nicole and Kelce ended up splitting briefly in August 2020. When the news broke, the Youtuber had unfollowed the footballer on Instagram and deleted all his photos.

In January, Nicole revealed she was ready to take their relationship to the next level.

CHEATING RUMORS

Afterward, there were reports that he had cheated on her, but Kelce later cleared the speculations in a since-deleted tweet stating the cheating allegations were inaccurate:

"This is fake news… a lie… and not why Kayla and I broke up. Take all your hatred somewhere else, please."

THEIR RECONCILIATION

The reason behind their breakup remains a mystery to date. Nonetheless, a few months after their split, the couple reconciled just in time for the holidays.

In February, Kelce gushed about his lover during a Q&A session with WNBA superstar Chiney Ogwumike, confirming that they were back together:

“She’s the best. She’s the absolute best.”

He did the same last month after the Chiefs' win over the Raiders in Las Vegas. Kelce greeted his longtime love in the end zone at Allegiant Stadium.

He wrote on his Instagram Story: “Baby girl!! Always showing love and support.” In January, Nicole revealed she was ready to take their relationship to the next level.

In a game called “True or False” per the New York Post, when asked if she was ready to be a mother, she replied: “False. I am ready to be a wife, though."

Recently, Nicole posted a selfie showing off her curves in a black mini-fitted dress paired with black and white stylish boots with a matching Chanel purse, writing: "What's up baby? Take me out to dinner."
