Meet Dominic Fike: The 'Euphoria' Star Who Recently Sparked Dating Rumors with Hunter Schafer
New "Euphoria" star and musician Dominic Fike and his costar Hunter Schafer recently sparked dating rumors. Fike also once shared a kiss with rapper Lil Nas X.
The "Euphoria" cast has been making headlines recently as the show's second season was released this month. However, costars Dominic Fike and Hunter Schafer had media outlets talking for another reason.
Fike and Schafer sparked dating rumors after paparazzi spotted the pair holding hands while leaving the celebrity-loved restaurant, The Nice Guy, in West Hollywood this month.

Schafer plays Jules, while Fike portrays Elliot in the drama series. During the first few episodes, Elliot comes in between Jules and Rue's relationship. Zendaya portrays Rue in the show.
Zendaya and Schafer admitted that they were nervous about the love triangle between the three characters. However, the "Spiderman" actress also noted Elliot's importance to the plot:
"As someone who understands where the show needs to go,... it’s crucial that Elliot exists and that he be the person that is honestly the catalyst for a lot of things that just have to happen."
Schafer agreed with Zendaya's thoughts during an interview with Variety. She explained that as she and Zendaya saw more of Elliot's storyline, it became a more exciting prospect.
Although Fike keeps up with his experienced costars, his first passion is music and not acting. He has an impressive music career that blew up after serving time in prison.
The "3 Nights" singer has acknowledged his time in prison but has not gone into detail and only explained the situation was "just a wrong place, wrong time, charge with [his] brother. It's public information now. It's all right there."
Fike, from Naples, Florida, is signed with Columbia records and reportedly got a $4 million contract. He then used the money to help finance a lawyer for his mother, who was in jail for a drug-related charge.
The musician has already worked with a few of the music industry's biggest names, such as Paul McCartney, who recruited Fike for "McCartney III Imagined" and Justin Bieber on "Die on You."
He starred in Brockhampton's music video for the song "Count on Me" with Lil Nas X. In the video, the rappers appear as lovers on holiday and later on share a passionate kiss.
Despite the new romantic rumors between Schafer and Fike, neither has confirmed their relationship status. Fike was previously dating "Booksmart" actress Diana Silvers.
